No Solicitation

r/Asexual is not a site for hookups or online sexual favors. There are plenty other places available on the internet for that, I'm sure.

Our subreddit is meant to help create awareness and deal with issues that are pertinent to asexuality and asexual awareness. If you have sincere relationship questions or questions related to dating in general, that is fine. However, our subreddit is not a hookup site. Attempting to do so here will result in your removal. We're help to be friendly supporters.

Obscene/Vulgar

Statements that are deemed to be obscene and vulgar shall be removed.

Sexually suggestive statements or posts detailing pedophilia, beastiality, or threats of rape shall be removed.

Advertising

Suggestive items (especially of the sexually suggestive variety) are not permitted on r/Asexual., Adverts, taglines, or links to websites that are deemed irrelevant to the asexual community shall be removed.

We allow for all things research or the spreading of knowledge and information. However soliciting favors of virtual sex and/or sexual hookups will not be allowed and shall make you banned.

Spamming and scamming shall also leave you banned. No exceptions.

Online Quizzes

After seeing an influx of asexuality internet quizzes flood our subreddit, we are placing a ban on all asexuality quizzes on r/Asexual. This doesn't apply to research studies. For that, see rule 9. However, any post with an asexuality quiz, such as "Guess which ace am I" quiz will be removed.

No Gatekeeping

Asexuality is a spectrum. Someone's experience being different from your own does not make it invalid. Gatekeeping includes invalidating another asexual’s identity and/or promotion of spaces that allow gatekeeping.
