Editathon hosted by Women in Red

Welcome to Paris 2024!

I've not been very active lately and it seems this page hasn't either but hopefully we get a push on ediing during the Games. As a few suggestions follow the guidance here for by nation articles but remember to ignore all rules as needed. And let's try and turn all those red links for Paralympians blue, the sources are out there somewhere to write the stories of all these incredible athletes. Women in Red year-long focus on women in sport

Throughout the whole of 2026, Women in red is focusing on women in sport. This provides opportunities for creating biographies of notable women in a wide variety of sports, not forgetting those competing in the Winter Olympics and Paralypics early in the year. Paralympic medal

I was looking through Wikipedia for information on Paralympic medals, both winter and summer, so I noticed that all there is about them are scattered around all articles of each individual editions of the Paralympic Games and that there is also a very small section with not much information on the article Paralympic symbols.

I would like to know your opinion on the possibility on the creation of a standalone article about the Paralympic medal, like the one that already exists for the Olympic medal, or of a way we could expand the section about Paralympic medals on the Paralympic symbols article.

One addition I would very much like to see is a table showing every Paralympic medal from each edition of the games, just like the ones in the Olympic medal article.
