Subject appears to be a chess grandmaster but does not seem to be notable in any particular way and no SIGCOV since he achieved his grandmaster norm as far as I can see from my BEFORE search. Subject meets criteria 1 of WP:NCHESS in that he is a grandmaster however he doesn't meet any of the other criteria as far as I can see and therefore I don't think he is sufficiently notable. I note that Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Maria Manakova in 2005 and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Alexander Bagrationi (chess) in 2022 resulted in keep decisions based on their GM status however we are now 21 and 4 years on from these so it should be considered whether we still think being a GM is sufficient to indicate notability given there are thousands in the world.
