Happy editing! HundredVisionsAndRevisions (talk) 16:21, 16 December 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks HundredVisions! I'm newly returned but did edit over ten years ago. Glad to be back :) Yourecoveredinbees (talk) 16:23, 16 December 2025 (UTC)
Your edit on Conservation International
[edit]It is better to retain long forms than abbreviations to conform to WP:TONE.This would make it easier for readers who are not familiar with the subject to learn about the subject of this page. Kvinnen (talk) 07:20, 19 December 2025 (UTC)
- OK... I'll keep "Conservation International" instead of "CI". Sorry, I didn't know about the rules in WP:TONE. However, you reverted some content edits not related to the issue so I'll revert it back to the point it was before I started switching to initials, to keep the content. CONFUSED SPIRIT(Thilio).Talk 11:31, 19 December 2025 (UTC)Disambiguation link notification for December 24
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Konservasi Indonesia, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page West Papua. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Introduction to contentious topics
[edit]You have recently edited a page related to living or recently deceased subjects of biographical content on Wikipedia articles, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia's norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practices;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to United Nations REDD Programme, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. - Thank you for restoring it and working on the article... you should write here that you did though or people will look at my talk page and think I'm a vandal. Yourecoveredinbees (talk) 11:56, 3 January 2026 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for March 14
[edit]An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Conservation International China, a link pointing to the disambiguation page Watershed was added.
(Opt-out instructions.) --DPL bot (talk) 22:10, 14 March 2026 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Orange sticker. An edit that you recently made to Architecture for REDD+ Transactions seemed to be generated using a large language model (an "AI chatbot" or other application using such technology). Text produced by these applications is usually unsuitable for an encyclopedia, and may contain factually inaccurate statements, fictitious citations, or other problems. You should instead read reliable sources and then summarize those in your own words. Your edit may have been reverted. If you want to practice editing, please use your sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Orange sticker (talk) 12:25, 25 March 2026 (UTC)
- Hi, I think the issue here might be that it's a technical subject and therefore parts could look "hallucinated" without a background on the topic. I'm a programmer and do use Python when creating charts and maps (like my recent edits to deforestation articles) but no generative AI. Should I copyedit with an objective of WP:MTAU? Thanks. Yourecoveredinbees (talk) 12:40, 25 March 2026 (UTC)
- That would definitely help, but there are many formating and structure issues which are so typical of LLM-generated articles that other editors are likely to flag it. Orange sticker (talk) 12:50, 25 March 2026 (UTC)
- Ok, thank you. I’ve been having this issue over the past two years at Reddit, as well. I don’t know what to do about the formatting and structural flagging issues, but at least I can make it more accessible. Yourecoveredinbees (talk) 12:58, 25 March 2026 (UTC)
- Sorry for the questions; I want to be extra careful moving forward.
- For my recent additions on deforestation in 50+ countries, I used Python to generate charts of deforestation change, and in Sublime Text did some "fancy copy-pasting" to enter figures, country names, and country ISO3 codes to point to the correct url. For each edit, I probed to ensure: a) that the urls were correct; and b) that values in the prose aligned with the Excel sheet from which they were derived. This effectively wasn't just a check, but a filter as well--countries with insignificant deforestation were passed over.
- Should I ask somewhere for special permission for incorporating semi-automated processes into my edits? As I plan to create some subjurisdictional maps of deforestation to add to articles over the next month, and don't want to be flagged. Thanks for the advice. Yourecoveredinbees (talk) 17:51, 25 March 2026 (UTC)
- Can you link me to the charts you're talking about? It sounds to me that the problem there wouldn't be the tools you use, but it might constitute original research if you're analysing data in a new way, but when it comes to producing images for Wikipedia that's not really my area of expertise, sorry. Orange sticker (talk) 17:56, 25 March 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks... the best example would be Forests of Turkey, near the bottom. If you click through to citation 85 -- https://www.globalforestwatch.org/dashboards/country/TUR/ -- you'll see the same graph. I used an Excel sheet that's provided to the public by Global Forest Watch to replicate this. On the Talk page of the article you'll see some points I made about avoiding OR so I think I'm following the guidelines correctly. Yourecoveredinbees (talk) 18:03, 25 March 2026 (UTC)

Question
[edit]Hi,
Do you use a LLM, such as ChatGPT or Claude, to help write some of your articles? I2Overcome talk 20:21, 24 April 2026 (UTC)
- Hi, Overcome; thank you for your concern. I taught Academic English abroad in my 20s, which taught me to write eloquently. I've had to make shifts in my writing style--such as dropping the m-dash--in recent years because LLMs mimic punctuation-heavy prose. I think you'll find I'm significantly more terse than language models, which I don't employ in my writing. Yourecoveredinbees (talk) 22:57, 24 April 2026 (UTC)
