Done. As usual, you catch me red-handed when I'm cleaning up the sloppiness of others. Thank you, dumb bot! — voidxor 16:38, 30 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]

USD

[edit]

Hi, don't knock yourself out correcting those pages with incorrect currency assignments. A few a day will get there. Usually I will look at the whole page to see if there is anything else that needs attention as well. Can probably look at some myself. I'm finding a few other things along the way during this 'project', which I can post up. Neils51 (talk) 00:36, 31 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

@Neils51: Hello! Thanks for that. Rest assured, though, that I'm knocking out those corrections because I want to, not because I feel pressured to. I had some free time Friday and today.
I agree about fixing other low-hanging fruit while fixing the USD thing, and have been doing exactly that. Thanks for generating the list. You'll have seen that I eliminated the duplicates, which got it down to 439 entries. I'd say about half of those are messy articles with poor grammar, and the other half don't need to be fixed because formats like "USD 123" only exist in quotations, titles, or URLs. — voidxor 15:22, 31 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]
@Neils51: FYI, I've finished running through both lists. Let me know if there's any more that needs to be swept. For instance, it might be worth searching "thousand" and "trillion" the way you did "million" and "billion". I don't mind doing grunt work in AWB if it frees you to tweak and test the regular expressions. — voidxor 18:10, 9 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, well done! I'm travelling and internet access is random, so not doing much on Wiki at the moment. I have created a fix for the school district issue and will upload in a few days when at home and also check for other permutations of USD instances that can be looked at. Thanks muchly!
