2027 in the United Kingdom moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to 2027 in the United Kingdom. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because it has no sources and WP:TOOSOON, 2027 won't begin for another 8 months. I have converted it to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Squawk7700 (talk) 19:05, 19 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Tip on references

[edit]

Could you assign your references names? Assigning a name and invoking the name on future uses, rather than copy-pasting the ref, ensures it shows up only once in the reference list rather than many times. This makes the references much easier to navigate.

For example, use <ref name = "Kotobank"><//ref> (except with one slash of course). Zygmeyer (talk) 01:21, 20 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]

LLMS

[edit]

Just checking in, you aren't using LLMs are you? Usage of LLMs to create content is forbidden on wikipedia, per WP:LLM. Some of the articles you've created have some indications. Thank you for naming references like I asked earlier, by the way. Zygmeyer (talk) 02:16, 20 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]

No, but I could see why parts of my writing style would make you think that could be the case, (with things like kotobank states, which I'm used to writing for essays and such), so I removed those parts from the articles to try and improve them Username1350 (talk) 03:09, 20 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Please be familiar with naming conventions

[edit]

Please be familiar with naming conventions before moving an article. Ivan Bocharov should have been moved to Ivan Bocharov (ice hockey. Please see Wikipedia:Naming conventions (ice hockey) for details. Please see Wikipedia:Article titles for an introduction to naming conventions. Flibirigit (talk) 20:41, 20 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Category:English chess biography stubs indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Liz Read! Talk! 05:33, 21 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm JTtheOG. An article that you recently made seemed to be generated using a large language model (an "AI chatbot" or another application using such technology). Text produced by these applications can be unsuitable for an encyclopedia, and output must be carefully checked. In particular, you should check each citation, and fictitious references must be removed. If you want to practice editing, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. JTtheOG (talk) 04:59, 30 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]
