Issues with user page

[edit]

[Humor]

Hey everyone. I've been looking into the user page here, and there appears to be a COI here. The person who created the article knows things only those close to the subject of the article would know.

On top of this, I found many, many issues with the page itself. (All of which should now be noted, but please message me if I missed any.)

Thinking of putting it up for deletion. Uncreativenaming (talk) 04:23, 18 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of content in Gyalwang Drukpa

[edit]

Hi could you explain how the content you removed in Gyalwang Drukpa does not relate to the subject of the article?

Thank you! Pencilceaser123 (talk) 04:56, 27 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Most of the detail I removed are better off in Drukpa Kagyu and 12th Gyalwang Drukpa, and also, from what I can tell, most of the info was directly copy pasted from those articles.
Also a lot of MOS:PEACOCK in the stuff I deleted.
Planning to merge the leftover info into Drukpa Kagyu, because after deleting all that, there are issues with WP:DICTIONARY, and WP:NOTE. Uncreativenaming (talk) 05:14, 27 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Introduction to contentious topics

[edit]

You have recently edited a page related to living or recently deceased subjects of biographical content on Wikipedia articles, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia's norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

I skimmed over this message and started mentally freaking out because I didn't read it properly.
Thanks though.
