- @Marquardtika I have come across the word MIRROR many times on WP. Do you know what that means? SamBordoloi (talk) 10:53, 21 April 2026 (UTC)
- A mirror is a website that simply copies or republishes content from another source without adding original reporting or editorial work. So it basically means a website is simply just copying stuff from wikipedia. Flyingphoenixchips (talk) 14:54, 28 April 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you @Flyingphoenixchips I was looking out for this for a long time. Ok, now I understand why editors delete sources stating WP MIRROR. SamBordoloi (talk) 08:02, 2 May 2026 (UTC)

- Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
- It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
- If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue on the article's talk page. Be civil, and reach a consensus there before restoring the edit.
- Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
- When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source. Do not use AI-generated text.
- If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
- Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Invitation to help outǃ
[edit]Hi! If you are interested, there is a great opportunity to write articles on the Bishops of Northeast India. Bishops are inherently notable under Wikipedia guidelines, but articles on those from the Northeast are almost entirely missing. It would be a meaningful contribution and a gap worth filling. Let me know if you would like to take it up! Flyingphoenixchips (talk) 02:56, 4 May 2026 (UTC)
- Hi @Flyingphoenixchips. Thanks for the ping 😀. Of course, happy to contribute. SamBordoloi (talk) 07:34, 7 May 2026 (UTC)
- Cool, lemme create a sandbox with a list of bishops who are still not on wikipedia. that should be a good start ː) Flyingphoenixchips (talk) 05:04, 11 May 2026 (UTC)
- Cool 👍 Let me know once done. SamBordoloi (talk) 11:09, 13 May 2026 (UTC)

A kitten for you!
[edit]
Just wanted to drop a note to say your contributions since joining in April have been genuinely impressive. In less than two months you have made 215 edits across a wide range of articles and AfD discussions, which is a strong start for a new editor. A few things stand out specifically. Your work on Northeast Indian topics shows real subject knowledge and you are clearly filling gaps that many editors would miss ːD We are happy to have you here. Adding The Hindu citations to Montfort School, Yercaud and then participating in its AfD discussion shows exactly the kind of constructive approach Wikipedia needs. One small suggestion going forward though when participating in AfD discussions, try to expand your reasoning a bit more as detailed keep or delete rationales citing WP:N or WP:RS carry more weight with closing admins. Keep up the excellent workǃǃ Here is a kitten for you
