Friendly clarifying question for strikes on drug traffickers article
[edit]Hi Renascitur.
Question on yesterday's boat strike. Early albeit probably shaky reports suggested the survivor of the strike was captured. Just confirming that upon further review the survivor is in fact missing and presumed dead yes?
Just want to know so I can correct the info box. Thank you and good catch. (: Historyguy1138 (talk) 14:33, 10 February 2026 (UTC)
- @Historyguy1138 yes they are still missing. No news/ announcements about them being located or rescued have been made Renascitur (talk) 14:43, 10 February 2026 (UTC)
- Ah cool. I will wait a bit then for any updates on that then, but remove him from the captured section. Thanks. (: Historyguy1138 (talk) 15:07, 10 February 2026 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for March 12
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Azimio la Umoja, a link pointing to the disambiguation page United Democratic Party was added. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Flyingphoenixchips (talk) 04:51, 11 May 2026 (UTC)Your sandbox
[edit]I edited your sandbox because it was listed in Empty headings, a kind of lint error. One day earlier, Zinnober9 edited your sandbox for the same reason. You reverted Zinnober9 and you reverted me, but then you removed the empty heading, which is good. There are many editors who fix things in Wikipedia including lint errors, CS1 errors, CS1 maintenance, and many other types of problems. If there is an error in a user page, people will tend to fix it. I try to respect requests to leave a specific user's user pages alone, but I get a lot of thanks and positive feedback for my user page edits, so it's generally well-received. I encourage you to help keep errors out of Wikipedia, including your user pages. For example, if you have markup like this ...
This line has '''unclosed bold This line has <small>''misnested tags</small>'' [[File:Information icon.svg|centr|This information icon won't be centered because of the bogus file option "centr"]]
... and someone comes along and fixes the unclosed bold, the misnested tags, or the bogus file option, it's probably best to accept the change gratefully. Cheers, Anomalocaris (talk) 05:32, 24 May 2026 (UTC)
- @Anomalocaris I accept your kindness and intention to help, I am also aware that other Wikipedians can and have the ability to edit another user's sandbox. I also appreciate and thank you for leaving a kind, well explained reason on why you and user @Zinnober9 edited my sandbox. Renascitur (talk) 06:25, 24 May 2026 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Danners430. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Laikipia Air Base, but you didn't provide a reliable source. On Wikipedia, it's important that article content be verifiable. If you'd like to resubmit your change with a citation, your edit is archived in the page history. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Danners430 tweaks made 15:03, 2 June 2026 (UTC)
- @Danners430 I'm adding the citations as we speak Renascitur (talk) 15:04, 2 June 2026 (UTC)

- @Renascitur to expand on the above - the comments you left in your edit summaries were, to put it very mildly, rather very cheeky. This is a community project, and you are expected to act in a WP:CIVIL manner towards all other editors.
- You added an entire paragraph of content, and didn't add sources. Whether you were "in the process of" adding them or not - citations should have been added in the same edit as you added the content. That is why you were reverted - there is zero need to be rude about it in edit summaries. Danners430 tweaks made 15:26, 2 June 2026 (UTC)
- @Danners430 I dispute that I'm being rude in any way. Could you please cite where it states "citations should have been added in the same edit as you added the content." thanks Renascitur (talk) 15:35, 2 June 2026 (UTC)
- You made an edit adding content and didn't provide a source. It really is that simple. Per WP:Verifiability, one of Wikipedia's core policies, edits that introduce unsourced content may be reverted at any time. That is what happened. Danners430 tweaks made 15:38, 2 June 2026 (UTC)
- @Danners430 I am once again asking you to please cite "citations should have been added in the same edit as you added the content" if there is such a policy, which I was so far unaware of, I will gladly comply.
- I did not come to Wikipedia to have arguments, engage in edit wars or disturb my peace of mind!
- Also what are interpreting as" rudeness"? Renascitur (talk) 15:48, 2 June 2026 (UTC)
- I've already pointed you at the policy. You made an unsourced edit and were reverted. If you make edits without giving sources, that is what to expect. As for where you were rude - see the edit summaries where you restored the content and again where you first added the sources. That is not how we treat other editors on Wikipedia, and as a fellow editor I'm expecting you to not repeat such behaviour. I consider this matter closed. Danners430 tweaks made 15:52, 2 June 2026 (UTC)
- @Danners430 no you haven't, please provide the source. Pointing out that I was already citing sources is not being rude. In all your previous statements I can't find anything that states "citations should have been added in the same edit as you added the content". Claiming that such a policy exists (and if it does I will gladly comply with it) is not citing it!
- Are you deadass saying asking someone to chillux is rude?
- Again, please link to it Renascitur (talk) 16:52, 2 June 2026 (UTC)
