Disambiguation link notification for October 17
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of Revolution episodes, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Charles Beeson (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Television pages
[edit]Hello. When updating information regarding aired episodes, it is best to make the changes after the episode has first aired. In the case of your edits to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. pages, the episode has not finished airing yet on the east coast, so you should have waited until 9 pm EST. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 00:54, 23 April 2014 (UTC)
Using edit summaries
[edit]Hiya, Thanks for reverting vandalism & crystal crap :)
But in-future could you please use edit summaries as edits like this [1] look like you're the one blanking/vandalizing when upon closer inspection you're not,
Thanks & Happy Editing :)

Orange is the New Black Vandalism
[edit]Orange is the New Black was released today early. you are vandalizing the page, and I will report you. there are 14 episodes, not 13, and the titles are all wrong. please find something else constructive to do with your time. Rswallis10 (talk) 01:35, 12 June 2015 (UTC)
I am literally listing the episode titles that Netflix has listed and the number of episodes that Netflix has released... Perhaps it is you that is vandalizing? Rcul4u998 (talk)
Multiple sources confirm the episode titles (they were sourced from the creator), and multiple sources (including futon critic) confirm 14 episodes. If those titles you listed are the ones on Netflix, then I'm really confused. I haven't been on Netflix yet, so I have no way of confirming what you are saying. Perhaps I am wrong, but I don't understand why reality is contradicting everything that has already been stated about the season. Maybe if we wait a while for all of the bugs to iron out, this will self-correct. I'm quite certain about the 14 episodes though. Rswallis10 (talk) 01:48, 12 June 2015 (UTC)
I am aware of the sources that have been referenced, and I am not denying their validity with the episode titles and number, but the season has been released early, as of about 30 minutes ago, and the episode titles that I had listed before they were reverted were the ones that Netflix has in their season 3 summary, and there are only 13 of them... I don't know. I am only listing the information that Netflix has released with the new episodes. I thought there were going to be 14 episodes as well... Perhaps Netflix changed the titles themselves because they did not like the fact that they had been revealed early? Rcul4u998 (talk)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. PMJ Associated acts
[edit]Hi Rcul4u998, I believe I had the associated acts in alphabetical by last name, with the exception of Puddles (P). Seemed like the most neutral way to do it. The guidance is a little confusing Template:Infobox_musical_artist#associated_acts and I just noticed the proper template is flatlist rather than plainlist. I'll change it and wait for you opinion on order of appearance. (Please ping me if you respond here) 009o9Disclosure(Talk) 18:28, 7 May 2016 (UTC)
- I second this. It should be alphabetical, but perhaps it should match the later listing that list alphabetically according to first name? I'm not sure, but it should be some sort of alphabetical either way. I know a lot of other associated act listings also list chronologically according to when the specific act collaborate with the particular group. @009o9: Rcul4u998 (talk) 00:08, 8 May 2016 (UTC)
- I don't think it matters, the flatlist is horizontal, it doesn't draw attention to the order like the plainlist does with one per line. Thanks 009o9Disclosure(Talk) 13:34, 8 May 2016 (UTC)

One other issue, and since you are an interested editor. Would you consider commenting on my motion to have the Postmodern Jukebox article removed or struck from the heading of this COIN. (WP:Conflict_of_interest/Noticeboard#GoDigital_Media_Group) I made a motion to remove it somewhere toward the bottom (word search "Can we please remove (or at least strike) the PostModern Jukebox article"). I'm not paid by PMJ nor any of their artists. A lot of them have day jobs and they probably couldn't afford the extra expenditure in this economy anyway. If PMJ wants to hire me, I will disclose the COI and refrain from direct editing. (Hard to imagine why they would, they are getting the history written for free anyway.)
I know you don't want to get involved in administrative issues, just thinking a second would help in getting it removed. 009o9Disclosure(Talk) 17:09, 8 May 2016 (UTC)
@Rcul4u998: A different request, does this cast member article look okay? Just getting ready to publish. 009o9Disclosure(Talk) 17:38, 18 May 2016 (UTC)
- @009o9: I think it looks good for a base article, but I don't know if the content is substantive enough for WP:Notability. I think a "Career" section would make it a tad better. I'm sure she's had articles covering her career, especially with PMJ now. Rcul4u998 (talk) 18:03, 18 May 2016 (UTC)
- Yes, she has a few concert reviews, but I don't want to include a bunch of praise, I left out most of the PMJ reviews that were in college newspapers. She's a topic in three international pubs for PMJ videos, Elle, Seventeen and A. V. Club (a very high Alexa rank). Pretty sure she also passes notability (WP:MUSBIO) from winning Montreux Jazz Festival and being on three Billboard Jazz top ten PMJ albums. As for adding sections, I just want to get it up so she has a place to document her history as more press develops (she's with the EU tour now). The dragon-lady has still been watching my contributions list, so I would not be surprised if there is trouble. I have a two page document on her (the dragon lady) already if she keeps it up. 009o9Disclosure(Talk) 18:45, 18 May 2016 (UTC)
- P.S. I think once she has done a couple more interviews, we'll have a clearer picture of her career history. 009o9Disclosure(Talk) 18:51, 18 May 2016 (UTC)
- @009o9: I also know that she has a new album coming that she crowdfunded through kickstarter, so that'd be good to add in her discography, as well. Rcul4u998 (talk) 19:29, 18 May 2016 (UTC)
- Yes, that album is scheduled for the November time-frame, which can be simply added to the albums table if it doesn't get reviewed (however I'm sure it will). She was working with/for the Pat Boone family, I'm not clear on that history, an album was announced but wasn't released. The sourcing on this isn't what I would consider RS, so the history is not clear, this might be that "anticipated" album. Her management (who also represents Debbie Boone I believe) hasn't changed, I'm just not sure if the label still exists. 009o9Disclosure(Talk) 19:46, 18 May 2016 (UTC)

Replaceable fair use File:Haley Reinhart Better Photo Shoot.jpg
[edit]
Thanks for uploading File:Haley Reinhart Better Photo Shoot.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the file description page and add the text
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}}below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing<your reason>with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable. - On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Majora (talk) 03:12, 27 October 2016 (UTC)

Haley Reinhart discography
[edit]Hi Rcul4u998. How are you?
If you read my edition before revert it, you can tell I never wrote "The Letter" isn't the second single – which in fact it is – but it can only be considered a promotional single because it didn't receive Concord Records nor VEVO distribution/promotion. On the other hand, "For What It's Worth" has a VEVO lyric video and label promotion (as she stated herself on her Facebook page), so it's an "official" single. Don't you agree? Phill ad (talk) 03:20, 13 August 2017 (UTC)
@Phill ad:
Hello Phill ad, I did not know that a single without label promotion had to be considered a promotional single. Thanks for the clarification! Sorry for reverting.

Cast lists
[edit]FYI, this is not a proper way to organize a cast list, per MOS:TVCAST. IMDb may list cast by number or episodes, but WikiProject Television has established credits order as the proper method. Thanks.— TAnthonyTalk 19:34, 26 February 2018 (UTC)
Bare URLs
[edit]Hi. Can you please take some time to fill out the references you add to articles? Piling bare URLs onto an article is just something other editors have to fix. Please read WP:Link rot and WP:Bare URLs for why these aren't helpful. If you're taking the time to write up article content, it's not going to take much more to add some details besides the URL. Thanks. Ss112 17:45, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
- @Ss112:Yes, I know, thank you. I just copied the content and references over from her main article after a guest editor added them. You gave me approximately zero time to fix the references before coming here.Rcul4u998 (talk) 17:49, 28 February 2018 (UTC)

- @Ss112:Sorry, I didn't mean to sound harsh. Reading it back, it sounds really snarky. I meant it to be more light-hearted than that. The thank you wasn't sarcastic, because I appreciate that you do this to preserve the quality of articles, especially for people who don't know. :) Rcul4u998 (talk) 18:08, 28 February 2018 (UTC)

- @Bbb23: This is the only account that I have ever used to the best of my knowledge. I don't remember having any other accounts before this, and this is the only account that I have ever used for the past ~5 years years since I started editing frequently in August 2013. If I have other accounts and don't remember, they are old and inactive, and I wouldn't know how to access them, but I'm pretty sure I would remember if I had accounts before this one. I started editing here when I was 16 using this account, and much before that I don't think I would have even understood very well how to edit pages, so I don't think I would have created an account when I was younger and forgotten about it. About a week ago I also received a notification that somebody had attempted to log into my account unsuccessfully numerous times from an unknown device, and it was not me, as I only edit using my phone or my laptop, so perhaps there is something fishy happening with my account?Rcul4u998 (talk) 17:04, 10 May 2018 (UTC)
- Do you have a friend or a classmate whom you've allowed to use your computer?--Bbb23 (talk) 17:17, 10 May 2018 (UTC)
- @Bbb23:Not my current laptop. Before June 2015 I edited using the desktop in my house, so some of my family may have had access to my account then, but I don;t believe any of them have their own separate accounts. But this is the only account that should be being accessed from this computer. I am at college for 8 months of the year and use the public student computers sometimes. I don't ever remember using the university computers to access my wiki account, but I suppose it's possible that I could have done it without remembering at some point (especially the computer at work, since I work at the front desk of a dormitory and we are allowed to use the computer for personal use when it is slow.) Rcul4u998 (talk) 17:28, 10 May 2018 (UTC)
- A couple of items and then I'm done until later. First, this has nothing to do with the failed login attempts. Second, the only data available to me is from the last 3-month period, so whatever you did a long time ago I can't see. Thanks for all your responses.--Bbb23 (talk) 17:33, 10 May 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Please don't randomly add sales figure to List of American Idol alumni single sales in the United States. All the figures given in the articles are actual sales figures, not units extrapolated from certification except when certification was based on digital sales. - Your reversion of cited and documented ratings that positively contribute to the page is vandalism. I will continue to undo the vandalism. Rcul4u998 (talk) 19:44, 26 March 2026 (UTC)
- Here is the first example Tuesday Scorecard: Positive Return for Will Trent on ABC; Solid Pairing with Lead-Out High Potential which is tagged as "FAST AFFILIATES", "NETWORK", and "RATINGS" only at the top of the page above the title. They are Fast Affiliates because they are only tagged as such. If they are final ratings, they would tagged it as "FINAL NATIONALS" and labeled as such. It is common sense and a fact that they are not final ratings. — YoungForever(talk) 20:14, 26 March 2026 (UTC)
- That is from January 6. There have been no fast affiliates since January 30 because they changed how they report ratings. You can’t just decide that these ratings aren’t acceptable for the page just because you want to. You are choosing to keep the page out of date for some reason that can only be explained as ignorance. Rcul4u998 (talk) 20:28, 26 March 2026 (UTC)
- You said not to post fast or overnight. I posted neither. If you want to delete the ones with that tag to appease your ego, fine, but according to the message that YOU wrote, the subsequent ratings fit your arbitrary criteria because they are neither fast nor overnight Rcul4u998 (talk) 20:29, 26 March 2026 (UTC)
- You are vandalizing the page by removing pertinent info that not only keeps the page complete and up to date, but also supports page content related to network decisions, such as renewals Rcul4u998 (talk) 20:33, 26 March 2026 (UTC)
- You are clearly posting Fast Affiliates which are not final ratings. You are choosing ignorance here. TV series viewerships have always use final ratings, not Fast Affiliates nor Overnight Ratings. It is standard and common practice on MOS:TV and WP:TV. We only put final ratings because they are final. Fast Affiliates and Overnight Ratings are inaccurate because they are subject to change. It is common sense. — YoungForever(talk) 00:23, 27 March 2026 (UTC)
- For some reason you have poor comprehension skills or are being blatantly obtuse. Once again, PI does not have ANY ratings after Jan 30 tagged as fast affiliates, so you deciding out of thin air that they can’t be included is improper and incorrect. I’m not sure what you’re not understanding about the fact that Nielsen changed how episode viewership is reported, that’s why “fast affiliates” and “final” tags stopped being used.
- Also, That’s a blatant lie, it is listed NOWHERE in the MOS that final ratings are the only ones allowed to be cited in an article. If we had to wait for the “final word” on every stat we cited, Wikipedia would be barren. Every piece of biographical and statistical information ever produced is subject to change and updating as new information becomes available. Every TV article I’ve contributed to for the past decade has used ratings exactly as I used them. If you continue to delete the properly cited episode ratings, you will be reported for disruptive editing and page vandalism. Rcul4u998 (talk) 04:40, 27 March 2026 (UTC)
- WP:NORUSH. Clearly, you don't understand what is standard and common practice mean at all nor do you understand inaccurate means. In addition, it is highly inappropriate to personally attack me. Please see WP:NOPA. Broadcast TV series used final ratings never fast affiliates nor overnight ratings. When I was first do U.S. ratings, many years ago, I was quickly reverted by multiple veteran TV editors who said they are for final ratings only, not fast affiliates/preliminary ratings nor overnight ratings. — YoungForever(talk) 05:37, 27 March 2026 (UTC)
- Oh but it’s okay for you to tell me that I don’t have common sense and don’t know how to read about 5 different times now? Sure, Jan. Rcul4u998 (talk) 11:44, 27 March 2026 (UTC)
- You keep saying that, but I see no written standard to support your claim that we’re only allowed to use “final ratings”. You have misnamed both disruptive editing and vandalism in your accusations against me, which is against policy. In fact my edits have been the constructive ones here, while your blanking of the ratings is page vandalism. I will be reporting your behavior if it continues. Rcul4u998 (talk) 11:50, 27 March 2026 (UTC)
- Speak for yourself. Your accusations are completely baseless. You don't even what are personal attacks and not. You clearly do not know what standard and common practice are. You have nothing to backup your claims of those are final ratings. I do because they are not labeled as such nor tagged as such. If they are, they would have been labeled or/and tagged as such. WP:DEADHORSE. — YoungForever(talk) 15:34, 27 March 2026 (UTC)
- Once again, I didn’t claim these are final ratings. You keep going back to that instead of addressing anything else I’ve said, such as proving that standards require ONLY final ratings to be cited. You also didn’t explain how what I said is a personal attack but what you said isn’t. Rcul4u998 (talk) 15:54, 27 March 2026 (UTC)
- I’ll see what the admins say on the incident page at this point, because clearly I’m talking to a wall. Rcul4u998 (talk) 15:57, 27 March 2026 (UTC)
- You called me "blatantly obtruse" and that's personal attack. — YoungForever(talk) 16:05, 27 March 2026 (UTC)
- No, I said you EITHER have poor comprehension OR are being blatantly obtuse. You chose which one applied to you I guess. And mind you that was AFTER you 5 times either said I can’t read or lack common sense. Your very first message to me was telling me I clearly can’t read, which was untrue, because my additions to the page followed your arbitrary guidelines, as NONE of the cited ratings after January 30th were tagged as fast affiliates. Not a single one. Rcul4u998 (talk) 16:18, 27 March 2026 (UTC)
- I’ll let the admins clear this up. This will be my final message to you. Take care. Rcul4u998 (talk) 16:19, 27 March 2026 (UTC)
