Information icon Hello, I'm Knitsey. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Sneako, but you didn't provide a reliable source. On Wikipedia, it's important that article content be verifiable. If you'd like to resubmit your change with a citation, your edit is archived in the page history. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Knitsey (talk) 19:27, 26 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Knitsey — thanks for reaching out.
You're absolutely right to emphasize verifiability. For the Sneako article, I’ve been working systematically to build each sentence using citations from reliable, secondary sources, and I’m in the process of replacing or removing any content previously supported only by self-published or deprecated sources. In some cases, I initially draft sentences with [1] placeholders until a solid RS is secured.
For the specific sentence you flagged, I’ll:
• Replace any unverifiable content with properly cited text
• Avoid non-RS sources like Patreon, Fandom wikis, or YouTube unless used strictly under WP:ABOUTSELF with no editorializing
• Re-add only what’s supported by reliable journalism, interviews, or direct self-attributions meeting RS standards
If I’ve misjudged any source or overlooked something specific, I’d appreciate a pointer — I’m committed to keeping the article aligned with WP:V, WP:BLP, and WP:RS.
Would it be helpful if I walked you through which citations are being confirmed for each section, or would you prefer I ping you once everything’s finalized?
Thanks again for your time and diligence. NAWEHA1 (talk) 08:46, 28 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Sneako has been reverted.
Your edit here to Sneako was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links in references which are discouraged per our reliable sources guideline (see also this list of frequently-discussed sources). The reference(s) you added or changed (https://ethnicelebs.com/sneako) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 08:39, 28 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for the note.
I understand that EthniCelebs is on the list of generally deprecated sources and I won’t be re-adding that link. However, I’d like to clarify that other Wikipedia pages—such as Hasan Piker or Andrew Tate—do cite YouTube interviews, tweets, and podcasts as sources, particularly when the statements are non-controversial, come directly from the subject, and fall under WP:ABOUTSELF.
In this case, I’m working on the Sneako article and am trying to verify basic biographical information (such as ethnicity, upbringing, or self-identification). Would it be acceptable to use Sneako’s own YouTube videos, X/Twitter posts, or podcast appearances, provided they are attributed clearly and used in accordance with policy?
Thanks again — I want to make sure I’m following the guidelines correctly and using sources as others have done in similar BLPs. NAWEHA1 (talk) 10:47, 28 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
(FYI, this is a bot and they can’t respond :).) GoldRomean (talk) 14:41, 28 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Oh How can I differentiate between real persons and bots? I am new Here. NAWEHA1 (talk) 15:12, 28 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Well, bots usually have “bot” in their name (like XLinkBot). And if you click on its username, you’ll see a notice saying “this user is a bot”. GoldRomean (talk) 15:14, 28 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you master NAWEHA1 (talk) 15:49, 28 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Sneako, you may be blocked from editing. Time to seek the talk page. Drmies (talk) 21:51, 29 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Drmies, thanks for the message. I'm new to editing Wiki and still learnin the guidelines with my mentor. I didn’t intend to be disruptive. I’m happy to take any advice you have on how I can contribute properly moving forward. NAWEHA1 (talk) 15:07, 30 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Sneako

[edit]

Hi, do you have any relation to Sneako? E.g. are you him, do you know him personally, did he ask you to work on his article? GoldRomean (talk) 22:16, 29 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi mentor, thanks for reaching out. I'm new to Wikipedia and still learning how to contribute properly. I want to be clear that I have no personal or professional connection to Sneako and I am not him. NAWEHA1 (talk) 15:01, 30 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
This sounds like a broken record. Drmies (talk) 17:44, 30 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

For context, NAWEHA1, your latest edit to Eminem (diff) introduced the following references, which appear to be made-up by AI as the links are not functional and no archived versions exist:

2019 Rapture Tour moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to 2019 Rapture Tour. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it consists of machine-generated text. I have converted it to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. LuniZunie ツ(talk) 17:05, 9 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Use of LLMs in articles

Information icon Hello, I'm Dwarfroe. An edit that you recently made seemed to be generated using a large language model (an "AI chatbot" or other application using such technology). Text produced by these applications is usually unsuitable for an encyclopedia, and may contain factually inaccurate statements, fictitious citations, or other problems. You should instead read reliable sources and then summarize those in your own words. Your edit may have been reverted. If you want to practice editing, please use your sandbox. Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by MCE89 were:

The comment the reviewer left was:
There are still signs of clear AI-generated text and failed verification throughout the draft. To give one example, [1] does not support the claim Across seven shows performed in 2019, the tour grossed approximately $42.8 million, with the five Oceania dates accounting for about $34.9 million.
