Inappropriate charts at Die with a Smile

[edit]

I have removed the following charts:

Please do not add to this article or any other. >> Lil-unique1 (talk)21:40, 23 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

you're rasist Mrethtr (talk) 12:55, 25 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
How is this anything to do with Racism? We have clear guidelines at WP:GOODCHARTS and WP:RECORDCHARTS. I've also removed Mako Hit List which includes social media in its chart methodology which means it is not allowed. You need to adhere to WP:AGF which means assuming good faith rather than assuming that someone is being deliberately mean if they edit an article or topic you're interested in. I will proceed to remove any further additions where I see them. WP:BRD states that if someone reverts/removes something you added and you disagree, rather than adding the content back, you need to get a WP:CONSENSUS via discussion on the talkpage. >> Lil-unique1 (talk)18:42, 30 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
you're a person who dont care about any other opinion than yours and you dont want to discuss in any way, from what i saw you did it several times, so why should i even try Mrethtr (talk) 14:44, 1 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You haven't tried to discuss it anywhere. We have rules on Wikipedia as mentioned at WP:RECORDCHARTS which stipulate what charts can be included. I don't need to discuss my edits when they adhere to the rules or seek to enforce the rules. The default position is an editor is correct when they are applying the rules. If another editor tries to add or edit content which is contrary to the rules, then be logic they are incorrect. The onus is then on that editor (you) to get a consensus and discuss edits which do not adhere to the rules. Until or unless there is a consensus which supports your edits they should not take place. As a result, please refrain from adding the above charts and making unhelpful edits. When you create an account, you agree to adhere to the rules and principles which include assuming good faith and following the rules. However, if you cannot follow this, then you may be banned or blocked by an administrator. Nothing in what I said was racist or has any basis in prejudice. Just because wikipedia is on the internet and freed to edit and access does not mean its not factual. Random charts on random websites do not mean they're factual, irrespective of whatever the country is. >> Lil-unique1 (talk)21:15, 5 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Inappropriate charts at Love in Real Life (song)

[edit]

I have tried politely to explain that the San Marino SMRRTV Top 50 chart is inappropriate for wikipedia because it is not independently verified. It is a single network/station which means it fails WP:SINGLEVENDOR. Please STOT adding this chart as you did here. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked or banned from editing. >> Lil-unique1 (talk)22:04, 21 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

you should be the one banned for destroying wikipedia Mrethtr (talk) 14:23, 31 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Can you please explain how I am destroying wikipedia. Please read the rules at WP:CHARTS which explains which ones are appropriate. I noticed you added San Marino to The Fate of Ophelia, here. You are continuing to add the chart despite being asked multiple times not to. It is not a reliable chart. If you add it again without discussion, I will request you are banned or blocked from editing as you cannot follow the rules or collaborate with others. >> Lil-unique1 (talk)23:43, 3 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You're such a bully, I wish you could just stop being racist to Sanmarinese people and the fact they listen to music and have their radio chart, but unfortunately you seem to be annoyed by the fact smaller countries exist Mrethtr (talk) 03:01, 4 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Can you please explain to me why I am a bully? Do you understand that we have rules to follow on Wikipedia to ensure fairness and equity. You have not attempted to start a discussion at WP:RECORDCHARTS. The issue is not the San Marino exists or that it has radio chart, the issue is that the chart is a single vendor i.e. a single radio station and is not independently verified. If you have a disagreement, you should first assume good faith and assume that the other person is speaking from a place of experience and good intentions. However, all along, you have been uncivil, rude and passive aggressive. You have ignored multiple attempts from multiple people to start a discussion with you, you have ignored all of the information and links presented to you and attacked the intentions of other people. At no point, is anyone showing prejudice to Suriname or any other country. Its the same reason that single-network Hong Kong or Taiwan charts are also not allowed. Do you understand this?
Either way, the rule are very clear that charts based on a single network should not be used in chart tables. I didn't write the rules. We all have to respect rules in life even if we disagree with them. >> Lil-unique1 (talk)17:10, 15 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You're a bully, cause there's no any other radio in San Marino - thus, San Marino RTV is their official Airplay chart. That's why I believe you're racist to small nation, which could not have airplay chart based on several radios, cause it doesn't have other radios. Not verified? It's their national public broadcaster funded by the government. You're talking about not assuming good faith, but what you do is screaming at me and threaten me to ban me because you hate smaller nations, and want them to be erased from charts table. Mrethtr (talk) 17:14, 15 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not screaming at you. I've politely said you should start a discussion. There are other small countries who's charts also need to be verified too. The issue isn't that its government funded or there's only 1 radio station. The issue is that Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, content has to be independently verified. We only include charts that have been verified by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) who are the legal representative body of the music industry around the world. The definition of racism is to discriminate against a group of people based on their race. I have done no such thing. I am not treating people from San Marino less favourably purely because they are from San Marino. I've never met anyone from there or visited. If you had stopped, read the rules and then started a discussion and attempted to explain your position that would have been good faith. But you didn't. You have ignored multiple attempts to discuss things, and carried on adding the information despite being asked not to. If someone tells you you are doing something wrong based on the current rules, you cannot simply shout its discrimination. I accept that you disagree with those rules that is why you have been asked to start a discussion. Per wikipedia rules, WP:BRD applies. If you wish to add information that the rules do not allow, it is your responsibility to seek a change to the rules. Until those rules change, repeatedly adding information which is not allowed is considered disruptive editing, which is grounds for a block. I did not threaten you, I have merely said you are breaking the rules which could lead to you being blocked from editing. If a police officer showed you the rules and said "you are breaking the rules please stop", you would not say that they are a bully or racist, especially if you have been asked and given multiple chances to discuss what you are doing. Its not just about San Marino, you have added multiple other listings which do not adhere to our rules either such as radiomonitor or duplicated charts where other more reliable ones exist. >> Lil-unique1 (talk)17:27, 15 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

November 2025

[edit]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia. Suriname, San Marino and other WP:SINGLEVENDOR charts are NOT appropriate for use on wikipedia. Please stop, you have been asked so many times! >> Lil-unique1 (talk)23:48, 3 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Airplay Charts

[edit]

Hi. Can you please stop with listing the Airplay charts for Germany, France and Italy when the song entered the main chart?! It is the same thing like with UK singles chart etc.Jakubik.v (talk) 14:08, 11 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

But these peaks i am adding are higher than the main chart. it does show a song performed way better on the airplay than on the main charts. it happened on wikipedia for years. i dont understand your problem Mrethtr (talk) 01:03, 19 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]
