Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Abracadabra (Lady Gaga song). This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. France music charts

Hi! My name is Colin, and I just did some edits on music articles regarding songs that charted in France. Here is a little rundown of what I added: In the song Overpass Graffiti by Ed Sheeran, I added the peak of 64 on the SNEP charts in the article, as it is shown on his discography article, but not on the song article. I also did the same thing for the song Who by Jimin, as it peaked at number 141 in France. Lastly, I added some peak positions for more songs recorded by Amir Haddad that charted there. Let me know what you think. Thank you! Colman2000 (talk) 21:19, 18 February 2025 (UTC)

Pagemover?

Hi Lk95! I just completed your technical move request for Don't Tap the Glass. Since you're a very experienced editor, I think you should consider requesting the pagemover right at WP:PERM/PM so you can do page swaps yourself. Even if you use the right infrequently, I think we can trust you to use it well. Toadspike [Talk] 09:38, 19 July 2025 (UTC)

Thanks for moving the article, much appreciated. I'd also be glad to apply for the page mover right; thank you for the suggestion! Lk95 (talk) 15:35, 19 July 2025 (UTC)

Page mover granted

Hello, Lk95. Your account has been granted the "extendedmover" user right, either following a request for it or demonstrating familiarity with working with article names and moving pages. You are now able to rename pages without leaving behind a redirect and move subpages when moving the parent page(s).

Please take a moment to review Wikipedia:Page mover for more information on this user right, especially the criteria for moving pages without leaving a redirect. Please remember to follow post-move cleanup procedures and make link corrections where necessary, including broken double-redirects when suppressredirect is used. This can be done using Special:WhatLinksHere. It is also very important that no one else be allowed to access your account, so you should consider taking a few moments to secure your password. As with all user rights, be aware that if abused, or used in controversial ways without consensus, your page mover status can be revoked.

Useful links:

If you do not want the page mover right anymore, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Thank you, and happy editing! * Pppery * it has begun... 20:06, 21 July 2025 (UTC)

The Fate of Ophelia

[ Good faith on The Fate of Ophelia, but the cite templates throughout the page are incorrect. See WP:CS and use the Template:Cite_web to site. A placeholder or temporary citation is unnecessary, but if you do want to do it, leave a [citation needed] tag and add a pre. Apply it t as follows: use an open chevron < followed immediately by an exclamation point and multiple hyphens !----, then insert the link to your citation, and immediately follow that with a forward slash and a closing chevron />.

== Proposed deletion of The Fate of Ophelia ==
Notice

The article The Fate of Ophelia has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Citing incomplete and informal referencing as per WP:CS and WP:CITECONSENSUS. Placeholders are not acceptable in an encyclopaedia. No reliable source confirms October 3 as the release date of the single, meaning the article currently contains misinformation. Several sections remain incomplete, suggesting it has been published prematurely. The subject itself does not appear independently notable, being no more significant than other tracks on the album (none of which have articles). Available coverage is not WP:SUSTAINED, and there is little evidence of commercial performance. The article also fails to comply with MOS:LEAD, as it lacks a clear and comprehensive introduction establishing notability. In its current state, the article does not meet inclusion standards for mainspace. Draftifying would allow time to develop a fully sourced and properly formatted version. A new article could be created at a later date if significant coverage and verifiable information emerge.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Youshouldchooseausernamethat (talk) 13:41, 3 October 2025 (UTC)

==Speedy deletion nomination of The Fate of Ophelia==

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on The Fate of Ophelia requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
