The article Rabbit Hole (novel) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence of any notability - awards asserted but not sourced.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Pam the Book Festival Award competitions are at the national and international levels; these are important for all authors, not just self published authors, as our books are competing against many hundreds of legitimate works (even as independent films do) to get to even Honourable Mention, which is Third Place. The First Place book in the Science Fiction category will be a scifi novel; since there IS NO FANTASY CATEGORY, all scifi and fantasy books compete against one another. RABBIT HOLE was the best Fantasy book in the division by taking runnerup; the book was nominated and won in the SciFi category, as shown on the WINNERS PAGE of the two contests for each year. The novel is a 2011 book, not a 2010 book. Thanks for improving the listing; please let me know if you see anything else.

Pam I understand the notability criteria -- have a question you or editors might clarify. I am also a Quarterfinalist Winner, Nicholl Fellowship Screenplay competition, 2003 for my screenplay DEAD BY MORNING. This group is www.oscars; yes, these are the folks that bring us all those Oscar nominations and awards, they have a competition each year that everybody in the Industry knows and follows for upcoming writers. I realise that RABBIT HOLE is not notable, its awards may not be big enough or recognised by academia, popular culture etc. But the Academy Awards have clout; the film Rabbit Hole did not garner a win, I believe, for Kidman or the film or director; they were nominated only and they have a Wiki page. I actually won -- at the level of an organisation that oversees a great deal of the entertainment industry and I won as a writer. Does that improve my notability, as a writer -- even, as yet the book is the acorn from which an oak might come?
