Ways to improve Sylvester's theorem on partitions

[edit]

Hi, I'm JamesG5. Kitun kumar, thanks for creating Sylvester's theorem on partitions!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Several of Sylvester's Theroem have pages, this certainly belongs but needs massive cleanup. Needs a lead, section breaks, less detail on the theorem and an explanation of what it is, the references placed correctly, etc.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. JamesG5 (talk) 07:45, 6 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Sylvester's theorem on partitions

[edit]

The article Sylvester's theorem on partitions has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Nothing about the theorem is. Math is all clumped together so it doesn't make any sense.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
