If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Journee Technologies GmbH, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. I would like to disclose that I am affiliated with Journee Technologies GmbH. My intention is not to use Wikipedia for promotional purposes, but to develop a neutral, well-sourced article that complies with Wikipedia’s policies and guidelines.
I understand the concerns regarding promotional tone under criterion G11 and acknowledge that the draft may require substantial revision. I am prepared to rewrite it to ensure it adheres to Wikipedia’s neutral point of view, verifiability, and notability standards, relying only on independent, reliable sources.
I would greatly appreciate guidance on how best to improve the draft and whether it would be more appropriate to submit it through the Articles for Creation process for independent review. JourneeinAI (talk) 12:51, 23 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation: Ojin (February 23)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by CabinetCavers was:
This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit it after they have been resolved.

Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because it has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, website, or role, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must follow all these steps:

  1. Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
  2. Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
  3. Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
  4. Provide a new username.

To do this, insert the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. If you are having trouble, you may want to try using the unblock wizard.

Before requesting a new username, check if it is still available. If the search says "There is no global account for [username]", the username is free to use.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the edit. Jauerbackdude?/dude. 15:05, 23 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

The following request was written through the unblock wizard.
Can you explain, in your own words, why your edits were promotional?
This was my first time ever editing Wikipedia, and I made the mistake of approaching it the way I approach my regular work, creating content that promotes the company I work for. I created this account with the intention of raising awareness about Journee and our work in conversational AI, without realizing how fundamentally that conflicts with what Wikipedia is for. Looking back, my edits were promotional because I was writing about my own employer with a marketing mindset rather than an encyclopedic one, and I failed to disclose that I was a paid employee. I understand now that this was wrong regardless of how the content was written, because the conflict of interest itself is the problem. It was a genuine mistake born out of inexperience with Wikipedia's culture and policies, not an attempt to deliberately game the system. I won't repeat it.
What is your relationship with the subjects you have been editing about?
I am a marketing employee at Journee Technologies, the company I was editing about. I have a direct financial relationship with the subject, as it is my employer. I was not editing as a neutral, independent contributor but as someone with a clear professional and financial interest in how the company is represented online. I understand this is a conflict of interest and that I should have disclosed it upfront before making any edits.
If you are unblocked, what topic areas will you edit in?
If unblocked, I intend to edit topic areas that I have no professional or financial connection to. I am interested in contributing to articles related to general technology, AI research, and Berlin as a city, where I can write from a neutral point of view without any conflict of interest.
Is there anything else that may be helpful to your unblock request?
I just want to say that I am genuinely sorry for the edits I made. This was my first time ever using Wikipedia as an editor and I did not fully understand the responsibility that comes with contributing to an encyclopedia that millions of people rely on. I should have taken the time to read the guidelines before jumping in. I have learned from this experience and I am committed to being a responsible and transparent contributor if I am given another chance

This unblock request appears to have been written by a chatbot using a large language model. The purpose of unblock requests is to determine whether you, the human operating this account, understand why you were blocked – not to test a chatbot's ability to tell us what we want to hear. A message written (or rewritten) by a chatbot can also cause you to sound like you're making empty promises. It is better to write the unblock request yourself. Please read through the guide to appealing blocks for more help. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 23:19, 28 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

This isn't bad- but it is going to be difficult for you to edit about AI in general given that is your company's field; I would suggest you stay away from AI at least for awhile, at least until you get a few hundred edits under your belt. 331dot (talk) 09:27, 24 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Can you explain, in your own words, why your edits were promotional? unfortunately it was my first time using wikipedia and I was trying to upload information about my company, it was at the time in a promotional tone for that I am sorry. I want to re-upload a page but in accordance to the guidelines that Wikipedia has set that is not promotional or harmful to the nature of Wikipedia. What is your relationship with the subjects you have been editing about? I am their employee If you are unblocked, what topic areas will you edit in? AI, Tech, Machine Learning Is there anything else that may be helpful to your unblock request? Just that I made a mistake and I would be grateful for another opportunity, guidance and to become a part of a community

(Non-administrator comment) Hello! In your first unblock request, you said you "intend to edit topic areas that I have no professional or financial connection to". Would you be willing to agree with what 331dot suggests above, and stay away from editing about your company (including trying to "re-upload [your] page"), at least until you gain a bit more experience?
