Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Sign your messages with four tildes (~~~~), be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Your submission at Articles for creation: A MAZE. (June 6)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Devonian Wombat was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject. Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Dear Devonian Wombat,
Could you elaborate on what is not reliable about the references? They show significant coverage throughout the years with articles dedicated to the existence of the event. They are from independent sources from the event. Edge Magazine has a whole article in their issue 333. You can look it up in the print version. Der Tagesspiegel is a renowned German newspaper with an article dedicated to the festival. If Edge, one of the leading magazines in video games, and Tagesspiegel, one of the biggest newspapers in Berlin, Germany do not constitute published, reliable secondary sources that are independent of the subject, what does?
It would be wonderful if you could explain, because I do not understand this.

Hi Doochtakh spikta, I cleaned up the article and ended up removing the content about the magazine because the sources were almost exclusively about the festival. Thanks for creating it! S0091 (talk) 18:02, 7 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

A Maze moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, A Maze, is not suitable as written to remain published. It lacks a lead, body text, and reads more like an advertisement. It needs more citations from reliable sources for verification as being something other than a local festival. I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
