Removing AfD Tags

Earlier today, you attempted to remove the AfD tag from William J. Coldwell. While you can in fact remove "prod" tags from articles, as you did earlier this week, you cannot remove AfD tags: as the previous message indicates, removal of an AfD tag is left to the community to decide. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.
