Hey, I notice you have Washington State Ferries waiting for a GA reviewer. I just posted Dam for a GA review. These two articles are both about the same size. Are you interested in swapping GA reviews? Of course, I want a thorough, quality GA review, to help get Dam ready for an FA nomination ... so a cursory quid-pro-quo review is not what I'm looking for.

I made a similar offer to you in Sept 2025 for another article and you said you were too busy at that time, but I thought I'd try again. I would prefer that the GA review, once started, wrap up in 7 to 10 days. I know you have FA experience, so I think you'd be a great GA reviewer. Thanks for considering it. @Noleander: Thanks for the offer, but once again I'm in a particularly busy part of the year. I don't think I'll have a spare day to go through with a full GA review at the moment. SounderBruce 20:45, 24 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]
No worries. Good luck with your GA nominations! Noleander (talk) 21:34, 24 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

This is to let you know that U.S. Route 101 has been scheduled as today's featured article for 11 July 2026. Please check that the article needs no amendments. Feel free to amend the draft blurb, which can be found at Wikipedia:Today's featured article/July 2026, or to make comments on other matters concerning the scheduling of this article at Wikipedia talk:Today's featured article/July 2026. Correcting my mistake

[edit]

Hi SounderBruce, thanks for correcting my mistake on Interstate 205 (Oregon–Washington), where I linked the wrong road. It was my first edit on Wikipedia, and I'm new to editing. Sorry about that!

A brownie for you!

[edit]
Thanks for all of your comments on List of Singapore MRT stations, which greatly improved the article! Icepinner (Come to Hakurei Shrine!) 04:45, 1 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
@Icepinner: Sorry for not being able to formally add my support to the nomination, as the replies happened to come right as I was traveling on a long trip with limited Internet access. The list looks great! SounderBruce 04:37, 6 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Want to join Wiki Loves Fútbol?

[edit]

You are invited to participate in Wiki Loves Fútbol! We're running it during the 2026 World Cup, starting now until July 19. Help us edit pages on everything futbol: think national teams from across Latin America, players, host cities, and the stuff around the cup that usually gets short shrift, like the immigration and culture angles. We're working in both English and Spanish.

Here's the fun part: it's set up like a Panini sticker album. You collect stamps for different kinds of contributions: editing an article, adding a photo over on Wikimedia Commons, doing a translation, or starting a Wikidata item. Fill the album first to win $200. That’s not all: we are also giving out $25 prizes to the “Player of the Match” every week the contest runs. You don't have to be a power editor to play. Everyone is welcome!

If you're a little curious, come take a look at our target articles. Do you think we are missing some good articles? We are open to suggestions! The best place to actually get going is our WikiLatinos Discord, that's where the article missions will live, where the leaderboard is, and where someone can point you to a good first edit if you want one.

Hope you'll jump in. Oscar_. (talk) 19:24, 10 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Promotional Tag on SoundBio Lab

[edit]

Hey, I wrote the article on SoundBio Lab and after seeing that tag, I removed the block quotes within the article. However, I don't know what else I should do to make this article more encyclopedic. Given that you were the wikipedian who added that maintenance tag, I wanted to ask you what I should edit. MaskedHarbinger (talk) 01:25, 16 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

@MaskedHarbinger: Most of the project and outreach sections reads like a press release, and needs to be trimmed down by quite a bit. Look at other organization articles to determine what is acceptable; the item-by-item list of promotions is not something that belongs in a Wikipedia article. SounderBruce 05:34, 17 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I think I trimmed it down quite a bit; Removed the item-by-item list like you said. Could you please take a look at it? I'm still rather new to creating articles so I'd appreciate any feedback. MaskedHarbinger (talk) 06:02, 19 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
