Battle of Qalamoun
I am not understanding your revert of my edit. I added three new sources to the article. Two of them are the Miami Herald and Yalibnan, I don't see how those two are dubious sources. You may have been referring to the official SOHR facebook news post. I know about the Wikipedia rule on using Facebook as a source and agree with it. But Syrian civil war editors had a discussion on this issue almost two years ago and agreed, since SOHR is regarded as a reliable sources by the mainstream media and the Facebook posts are official ones and not made by unknown individuals, that we will use the posts in the Syrian civil war battle articles. In case that some editors show higher disaproval, we would replace the sources with ones from SOHR's main Arabic site, which is not Facebook. EkoGraf (talk) 15:21, 28 November 2013 (UTC)
- So, what do you want me to do to resolve the issue? Do you want me to make some corrections? EkoGraf (talk) 15:24, 28 November 2013 (UTC)
- Since this matter is an issue, better not to provide the facebook cite... Thanks for the info and sorry for the mistake.. Herald talk with me 15:27, 28 November 2013 (UTC)
- Ok, I will attempt to find the Arabic non-Facebook version. EkoGraf (talk) 15:32, 28 November 2013 (UTC)

Edits I made in the article named T.G.Venkatraman
Hi Planet Herald,
Mr.T.G.Venkatraman is my father. When I was browsing the net I came across this article which had to start with Spelling mistakes, and very limited information, I was surprised to see an edit option and made changes without knowing the procedure. Please let me know the process I would be too willing to do the corrections as approved by Wikepedia. which are genuine facts about my father.

Almaty Airpor
Good evening Yes I made changes, And it wasn't a mistake I work at Almaty airport for 2 years. And all the fligths I removed from the list simply don't exist. I will change it again. And again until my company sees it and takes other decisions... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 5.251.141.89 (talk) 16:31, 2 December 2013 (UTC)
Edit after second edit, and second removal : OK, tomorrow I'll consult my head manager about that. If you dont believe my changes are correct and appropriate, consult the official website of our airport, the only official information for routes to and from Almaty Airport : www.alaport.com . I will change ONCE more. Then I will see what procedures we can do. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 5.251.141.89 (talk) 17:03, 2 December 2013 (UTC)

- Recent research: Reciprocity and reputation motivate contributions to Wikipedia; indigenous knowledge and "cultural imperialism"; how PR people see Wikipedia
Wikipedia works on the efforts of unpaid volunteers who choose to donate their time to advance the cause of free knowledge. This phenomenon, as trivial as it may sound to those acquainted with Wikipedia inner workings, has always puzzled economists and social scientists alike, in that standard Economic theory would not predict that such enterprises would thrive without any form of remuneration.

Canvassing
Hello. It appears that you have beencanvassing—leaving messages on a biased choice of users' talk pages to notify them of an ongoing community decision, debate, or vote. While friendly notices are allowed, they should be limited and nonpartisan in distribution and should reflect a neutral point of view. Please do not post notices which are indiscriminately cross-posted, which espouse a certain point of view or side of a debate, or which areselectively sent only to those who are believed to hold the same opinion as you. Remember to respect Wikipedia's principle of consensus-building by allowing decisions to reflect the prevailing opinion among the community at large. Beni, being your friend, I would post a support vote but I don't want to. This kind of emails will be of no help either. Its just a heads-up, so that you don't get into trouble. "X-files! Viewer discretion needed for eight featured pics" is clever, but it kind of gives away the punchline ... how about "Viewer discretion advised" for the page title, then say in the text "Three Featured Articles ... including the first episode of the X-Files to include a "viewer discretion" warning"? - Dank (push to talk) 22:49, 8 December 2013 (UTC)

- Traffic report: Deaths of Mandela, Walker top the list
When one edits this page for too long, one is tempted to appoint oneself as the psychoanalyst for the human race, or at least the English-speaking portion thereof. Since nearly everyone uses Wikipedia, the constant stream of TV updates, pointless celebrity scandals, and inquiries after who has died can seem like a dreary peek into humanity's surprisingly banal collective consciousness.

Explain your edit?
Hi, I saw edit of yours and would like to ask if you could discuss on thetalk pagewhy you felt this material should be included in the article (it was my change that you reverted). Thanks. 18.95.6.111 (talk) 10:48, 9 December 2013 (UTC)

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. When using certain templates (such as welcome templates and user warnings) on talk pages, as you did to User talk:Soham, don't forget to substitute with text by adding subst: to the template tag. For example, use {{subst:uw-test1}} instead of{{uw-test1}}. This reduces server load and prevents accidental blanking of the template. Thank you. Hey man, subst templates.
