Replaceable fair use File:Zig Zag Revolver (3D Printed).png
[edit]
Thanks for uploading File:Zig Zag Revolver (3D Printed).png. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the file description page and add the text
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}}below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing<your reason>with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable. - On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 19:00, 19 December 2014 (UTC)

- @Qcne yep. I'll see what I can dig up. thank you! Ayjazz (talk) 12:29, 10 November 2023 (UTC)
- Feel free to ping me here if you want to re-submit again and I'll take another look :) Qcne (talk) 12:41, 10 November 2023 (UTC)
- @Qcne some questions:
- the author has talked a sequel but I'm not too sure what would be good sources for that. the ones I do have are from his personal Twitter account, the GoFundMe for the book, as well as the YouTube video on it the GoFundMe page, but not sure if that's a decent enough source for what we need.
- I found a better review from SolarPunk magazine that I added in.
- still looking for one more book review for the reception but I figured some sources of the sequel could help. Ayjazz (talk) 20:09, 10 November 2023 (UTC)
- I think that just about puts it over the line - just source the Sequel bit: is there a secondary source you can find for that?
- Once done, you can resubmit and let me know and I'll approve. Qcne (talk) 21:49, 10 November 2023 (UTC)
- Unfortunately no, beyond the author's social media and posts on stuff like Reddit, so I'll remove it for now and resubmit. Ayjazz (talk) 21:57, 10 November 2023 (UTC)
- Accepted! :) Please add some WP:CATEGORIES. Qcne (talk) 22:09, 10 November 2023 (UTC)

Nighfidelity (talk) 20:05, 7 May 2026 (UTC)LLM use
[edit]Hello. Thank you for creating John Barker Spring House. However, I should let you know that the use of LLM tools is no longer allowed on Wikipedia. Thank you, JTtheOG (talk) 05:49, 13 May 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks for the feedback! The draft was submitted prior to the policy going into effect, but was published afterwards. (I missed the news about it, otherwise, I would had held off the draft going forward.)
- Anyways though, it needs to be within policy, and frankly, some cleanup, so I have since then gone through the article and overhauled the LLM crap out of it by hand. I verified the facts from the sources provided, cleaned up the lead, tightened the prose; overall making the article much cleaner to read and less awkward.
- I'd appreciate your thoughts on on if the article is now up to standards and no longer needs an LLM tag. Ayjazz (talk) 15:38, 15 May 2026 (UTC)
