Dwayne Dolphin

You just reverted, without explanation, my removal of unsourced material from Dwayne Dolphin. As I stated in my edit summary, we need reliable sources and the lead should summarise the body (WP:LEAD). Please include reliable sources for this content if they exist and remove the content if such sources don't exist. I also see that you mark all of your edits as 'minor'. This should be done only for edits such as fixing typos. And please also include an edit summary – this will help other editors who follow a page. Hello, Eddie. That Dwayne leads his own group and is an important member of Roger's is public knowledge. One can check Google to affirm this. I don't feel that I have to source that information.

One can add to the lead: that in addition to his long career, he leads his own group, the Dwayne Dolphin Fo'Tet and is a mainstay in Roger Humpries RH Factor. Or, something like that. Source only information prohibits direct experience.

We do need reliable sources; direct experience doesn't count (this is even the case when the subject of an article comments on content). From the reliable sources page that I linked to: "Articles should be based on reliable, independent, published sources with a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy. This means that we publish only the analysis, views, and opinions of reliable authors, and not those of Wikipedians, who have read and interpreted primary source material for themselves." Even more direct is the No original research policy: "Even if you're sure something is true, it must be verifiable before you can add it." EddieHugh (talk) 21:52, 1 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
