Hello, I'm Waxworker. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Bill Pullman, but you didn't provide a reliable source. On Wikipedia, it's important that article content be verifiable. If you'd like to resubmit your change with a citation, your edit is archived in the page history. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. see WP:DOB Waxworker (talk) 16:08, 7 April 2026 (UTC)
- Yes, I've always sourced my edits before, and didn't do so this time because I've NEVER seen a citation on a birthdate. Birthdate WITH citation added. Anne4JC (talk) 23:20, 7 April 2026 (UTC)
- IMDB is an unreliable WP:USERGENERATED source per WP:IMDB. Content in the lede doesn't need to be sourced if it's sourced in the body of the article, which may be why you've seen birthdates that appear unsourced. Dates of birth are a sensitive piece of personal information, and sourcing standards for WP:BLP info such as DOB are stringent. Waxworker (talk) 03:05, 8 April 2026 (UTC)
