Don't redirect Orwell and I

[edit]

The page Orwell and I redirected is wrong. Sultan Abdul sultan (talk) 19:30, 29 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Sultan Abdul sultan. The page Orwell and I was redirected due to the rough consensus arrived at in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Orwell and I. You do not own the page. You may contest the result at Wikipedia:Deletion review. 45dogs (they/them) (talk page) (contributions) 20:13, 29 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your responce. Actually the page that you just redirected with Zulfikar Ghose is not same as Orwell and I. Both are different as one refres to the writer while the other is his literary work. Though it was mark for deletion as it was missing references earlier but later more references were added and the template for deletion should be now removed and also this page should not be redirect with Zulfikar Ghose. Sultan Abdul sultan (talk) 20:23, 29 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]
They are indeed not the same thing. Redirects to related topics are fairly common, if the other thing isn't notable enough to have its own article. As I said above, if you would like to contest the result of the AFD you may do so at Wikipedia:Deletion review. See WP:DRVPURPOSE. 45dogs (they/them) (talk page) (contributions) 20:38, 29 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]
The page I reverted earlier was a mistakes as you have advised for proper procedure, but it was already reverted by mistakes. Kindly revert it back until a consensus is made. Now I contested the result of the AFD at Wikipedia:Deletion review. Sultan Abdul sultan (talk) 21:45, 29 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Nightfire

[edit]

Hello,

You reverted a change I had previously made to the 007 Nightfire page regarding the engine that was used.

I've had confirmation from the actual developers of the game that the engine used was an In House Engine (Pre-EngineX), however due to mis-information and now deleted forums I have limited sources to point to for what is considered a reliable source. I have the following sources - Discord conversations with the developers, the valve wiki pages, a resetera post by a developer on the game [1]

What would be best to post so the information stops being deleted, as you can see I've made a number of revisions to this page to correct the misinformation (previously was slated as having used idtech engine) / deleted information. Voidgremlin (talk) 22:12, 31 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Voidgremlin, apologies for the delayed response. All of those sources have the same issue, that being they are all sites comprised of user generated content. Wikipedia functions on verifiability rather than truth so without a good source the content can simply not be added. 45dogs (they/them) (talk page) (contributions) 19:30, 2 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

  • Mandatory 2FA for bureaucrats: Bureaucrats without two-factor authentication (2FA) enabled have already lost access to their advanced rights on 26 May. Those who do not enable 2FA may be automatically removed from the groups in mid-June 2026, and from that point onward, new members must have 2FA enabled before they can be added. (T423119, T423120)

Arbitration

  • The arbitration case SchroCat has been closed.
  • The arbitration case Michael Jackson has opened. Evidence submissions in this case closes on 1 June.

Why did you remove comments and add section at the bottom of Adam Hamawy RfC?

[edit]

I saw on the page of Adam Hamawy that you removed comments on the RfC and added "discussion started in violation of the Arab-Israeli conflict's extended confirmed restriction." I do not get how this makes sense since the article does not relate to the Arab-Israeli conflict. I also do not see what specifically under WP:ARBECR makes this not allowed. Please elaborate. Orca🐋 (talk) 02:25, 7 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

@Orca, I based my edits off of the "active arbitration remedies" template at the top of the page, which states that The entire article relates to the following contentious topics: ... The Arab–Israeli conflict and that You must be logged-in and extended-confirmed to edit or discuss this topic on any page, except for making constructive edit requests. As for why I hatted the discussion, I did so as it was started by a non-XC user. Typically those should be removed, but since there were replies to it by XC users I decided to hat/collapse it in order to preserve the context for the XC editors messages (though admittedly I'm unsure if that is the best solution in cases such as that). 45dogs (they/them) (talk page) (contributions) 03:23, 7 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
I am extended confirmed and I started the RfC. Who are you referring to? Orca🐋 (talk) 04:00, 7 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Apex-nurse is not extended confirmed which is why I collapsed the discussion, as it was started by someone who isn't extended confirmed. I have not collapsed the rest of the RFC, as you are extended confirmed. 45dogs (they/them) (talk page) (contributions) 04:01, 7 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Ah ok that makes sense. What about the separate comment by Edittttor? You removed him comment but he is extended confirmed. Orca🐋 (talk) 04:12, 7 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Edittttor is not extended confirmed, as it was revoked. 45dogs (they/them) (talk page) (contributions) 04:14, 7 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Ah didn't know that, that makes sense. Thanks for all the clarification. Orca🐋 (talk) 04:14, 7 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry!

PLEASE DISREGARD this message. I discovered that I could fix the issue myself. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Powerplay11 (talkcontribs) 19:18, 11 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Teahouse

[edit]

Did you mean to remove both threads? DuncanHill (talk) 00:22, 15 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

DuncanHill, yes I did mean to remove both. This is probably ChronicleBooks885 which is why I removed both. 45dogs (they/them) (talk page) (contributions) 00:26, 15 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Edit stomp

[edit]

Sorry, I appear to have stomped on some of your edits at Talk:2026 Iran war in condensing down the "results" section duplicates, in the edit conflict. Please let me know if you'd like me to re-add them for you. SWATJester Shoot Blues, Tell VileRat! 21:50, 18 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Its fine, I can just redo them. 45dogs (they/them) (talk page) (contributions) 21:52, 18 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
