The Judge: An Untrue Tale is a 48 page children's picture book written by author Harvey Finchstrom, under the pen name, Harve Zemach and Margot Zemach, and illustrated by Margot Zemach. It was originally published by Farrar, Staus and Giroux in 1969 as a hardcover, and later published in 1988 as a paperback. It is a Caldecott Honor book for it's illustrations. [1]
Rosa is a children's picture book interpreting and recapturing the story of Rosa Parks, and her revolutionary stance that sparked the civil rights movement. It is written by Nikki Giovanni. It's illustrations, illustrated by Bryan Collier, was honored by the Randolph Caldecott Medal in 2006.[2]
Journey is a children's picture book written and illustrated by Aaron Becker. It has 40 pages and it was published by Candlewick in 2013. In 2014 it became a Caldecott Medal honor book.[3]
