The Adventures of Kirby

The Adventures of Kirby, or Kirby Tales (Japanese: カービーテイルズ, Hepburn: Kābī Teiruzu) is a 2014 Japanese/Malaysian/American computer-animated television series produced by Digital Milk, KompuMation Studios and HAL Laboratory for Disney XD (available in English and Malay), Disney Channel, KompuMation (Malay only) and Tokyo MX.

The series was featuring HAL Laboratory's main series' hero, Kirby along with some other characters in the series such as King Dedede, Meta Knight, Gooey, Chuchu and Paint Roller (not including Tiff and Tuff in the pilot teaser). First aired on KompuMation in November 8, 2014, Disney XD in November 10 in the same year, Tokyo MX in the next week and Disney Channel in January 19, 2015. The cartoon was planned to be aired on Cartoon Network but scrapped by Nintendo. The series was the second of the Kirby series which King Dedede was the one of the heroes since Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards.

The video game based on this series was released by HAL Laboratory and Monkey Bar Games in February 5, 2015 for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.

Characters

Main characters

Kirby (voiced by Tara Strong) - Kirby is the title character of the series, he has an ability to inhale enemies and copy their abilities, like in many Kirby games. In the beginning, Kirby was an explorer, exploring the galaxy and crash-landed at Pop Star, the iconic planetary in the Kirby series due to an accident at the meteorite jam. King Dedede and Kirby were enemies at start, until Kirby saves King Dedede from being possessed by Dark Matter. Until the time from the first episode, King Dedede will assist Kirby in heavy situations.
King
