Hi lad, my name is Sal, and I am oddly obsessed with tornadoes and tornado history.

Quincy was a name I originally wanted to go with before changing my mind later on.

I don't quite know why you are reading this laddie, but hey, feel free to read articles I have made or revamped below. All are on tornadoes, go fish.

Published Articles

[edit]

These are articles I made and published myself!

F#/EF# State / Country Date Fatalities Injuries Article Description
F5 Alabama April 8, 1998 32 259 1998 Oak Grove–Birmingham tornado I was incredibly surprised that neither of the Birmingham F5 tornadoes did not have any Wikipedia articles on them, which was extra surprising considering that both of them were very well talked about. (Fun Fact: This is the first ever Wikipedia article I have ever made!)
EF3 Michigan March 6, 2026 3 12 2026 Union City tornado Historical tornado for the state of Michigan, being nearly rated an EF4, and the deadliest in the states history since 1980.

Revamped Articles

[edit]

These are articles I revamped heavily as they were basically stubs in their previous versions and genuinely needed a revamp.

F#/EF# State / Country Date Fatalities Injuries Article Description
F4 Wisconsin June 29, 1865 17 >100 1865 Viroqua tornado This really old tornado was one of the first highly deadly tornado in Wisconsin state history. It was at the time the deadliest in the state until the 1899 New Richmond tornado.
F5 Mississippi December 5, 1953 38 270 1953 Vicksburg tornado This tornado was never meant to be F5 fun fact! Either way I revamped this article as I was heavily invested in learning about this particular tornado. It was also the deadliest December tornado prior to Western Kentucky 2021
F5 Mississippi March 3, 1966 57+ 518 1966 Jackson, Mississippi tornado The page was revamped from a "Tornado Outbreak" page, to a page mainly focused on the Jackson, Mississippi tornado. This revamp also expanded the tornado summary, added plenty of photos, and other fun stuff!

Work-in-progress Articles

[edit]

These are articles that I am working on and will finish in the future. Feel free to take a look through them or even contribute to them yourself! Just do not use AI

F#/EF# State / Country Date Fatalities Injuries Article Description
F5 Texas May 15, 1896 Disputed: 73 (Officially) - 121 (Reanalysis) >200 Draft:1896 Sherman tornado If the reanalysis death toll is correct, then this is easily the deadliest tornado in Texas state history. Newspapers reported that 140+ people died on this day.
