PoliticalPrincess was born September 29th, in Massachusetts, USA. She is of Portuguese and Irish descent and spent majority of her early life like any other person, sipping apple juice and playing with blocks. She was diagnosed with ASD, ADHD, and anxiety at a tender age. PoliticalPrincess found pleasure in geography and politics in early elementary school, with her uncanny ability to name which flags belong to which countries, gaining her the nickname 'Miss International'. Yes, she is still called that to this day. No, PoliticalPrincess does not approve of this nickname, although she does get a few laughs out of it.
For this section, PoliticalPrincess is considering her career to be her Wikipedia edits. She has contributed to many articles related to politics (could have never guessed that one), international militaries, crime, and philosophy. She is currently in the process of authoring multiple Wikipedia articles of own, pertaining to all of these subjects.
PoliticalPrincess is a large fan of what anybody except her fellows Americans refer to as football. She roots for Portuguese team Benfica. She is an author of a novel in progress and far too many poems, some of which have been printed in magazines and collections. PoliticalPrincess also happens to have the world's best boyfriend; she is currently in the process of coaxing him into joining the Wikipedia community.
She has two younger siblings, one of which is also on Wikipedia. She was influenced to join Wikipedia by her mother, who noticed her ability to remember information given to her, although often not relevant, and figured it could heavily benefit the website. Time will tell if the mother of PoliticalPrincess was right.
PoliticalPrincess did win an essay contest in the fourth grade. That's about it! However, she is looking forward to possibly winning some awards on this website by doing what she loves best.
