I like making things better.

What I do

[edit]

I write and improve articles, mostly aiming at Good Article and Featured Article standard. My main subject area is early twentieth-century British boxing, but I'll work on anything that catches my interest and has decent sources. Recent work has ranged from the National Sporting Club to algorithmic amplification to the printing press.

I do a lot of sourcing from the British Newspaper Archive, cross-referenced against civil records, census returns and modern scholarship. I also review other editors' work at GA, peer review and FAC as a way of contributing to the community.

Have I made the same mistake 15 times in a row? See below!
