  1. Category:Locations in the United States with elite populations: nominated at CfD (CfD); notified Fred Bauder (talk · contribs) 08:34, 15 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Per WP:ARBITRARYCAT. What is an "elite population"? Inclusion is highly subjective, and the category is unencyclopedic.

[edit]
  1. Portal:Jonesboro, Arkansas: nominated at MfD; notified Ilovehistory16 (talk · contribs) 22:24, 17 July 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Does not meet criteria at Wikipedia:Portal, which states that portals are intended for "specific broad subjects". This is a list of links related in some way to Jonesboro, Arkansas. These links should be incorporated into the article, not listed without explanation in a portal.

  1. Neako: nominated at AfD; notified Ffffanboy (talk · contribs) 10:37, 16 December 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails WP:BASIC, WP:ANYBIO, and WP:MUSICBIO. Unable to locate any significant biographical details in secondary sources. No indication of awards or charted songs. The sources cited mention his name, but little else.

January 2023

[edit]
  1. Template:Speedway tracks: nominated at TfD; notified Pyeongchang (talk · contribs) 19:06, 26 January 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: This template does not improve navigation; it only links several unrelated articles that mention "Speedway", such as auto race tracks, horse race tracks, and motorcycle racetracks. Nothing encyclopedic is organized by this template, just a bunch of unrelated articles that have described themselves as a "speedway" of some sort.

  1. Eric William Barnum: nominated at AfD; notified Prairiesummer (talk · contribs) 15:23, 7 May 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Previous PROD was removed. Fails WP:BASIC, WP:ANYBIO, and WP:CREATIVE. Unable to locate any biographical details in reliable secondary sources. No indication of notable awards. The sources cited are press releases or self-sourced.

[edit]
  1. Dorian Rhea Debussy: nominated at AfD; notified Politicalnooby (talk · contribs) 22:14, 20 June 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails WP:BASIC and WP:ANYBIO. The only biographical information comes from magazines published by universities Debussy has attended or worked at.
Other mention of this person in reliable sources are essentially "work related".
Sports Illustrated reported that this person quit their job, writing, "Dorian Rhea Debussy stepped down from their volunteer post at Division III’s LGBTQ One program."
Other sources are just "sound bite" quotations, because this person is Director of External Affairs with Equitas Health, and part of their job is to publish their company's opinion about issues.
Another source, The Buckeye Flame, is cited often, though this is a niche LGBTQ publication serving a small geographic area.
A thorough search yielded little to indicate this person meets our notability criteria, and almost no biographical information in reliable sources.

[edit]
  1. Category:Havill family: nominated at CfD (CfD); notified VeyC0ntent (talk · contribs) 14:55, 24 July 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: The "defining characteristic" is of this category is having the last name "Havill". After reading some of the biographies this category has been added to, only a few of the biographies indicate a familial relation to others in this category. Often, it seems this has just been randomly added to people with the last name "Havill" (with no indication they are part of the same "family"). The category could just as well have been titled "people with the last name Havill", which would be better served by a disambigiation page, not a category.

  1. Szilvia Molnar: nominated at AfD; notified Nouspleut (talk · contribs) 13:34, 9 October 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails WP:BASIC, WP:ANYBIO, and WP:AUTHOR. The sources cited in the article are reviews of her novel, The Nursery, with one source being sponsored content, however, I was unable to locate any biographical information about this person in reliable secondary sources.

[edit]
  1. New Hope Church: nominated at AfD; notified Nathantx (talk · contribs) 17:31, 20 January 2024 (UTC)
    • Reason: Per WP:GNG and WP:ORG. Unable to locate any coverage in reliable sources except for the three sources cited in the article, and of those, two sources are local newspapers, and one source is a church magazine.

  1. FTG Metro: nominated at AfD; notified Clearfrienda (talk · contribs) 12:49, 9 June 2024 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails WP:BASIC, WP:ANYBIO, and WP:MUSICBIO. Unable to locate any significant biographical details in secondary sources; sources are mostly obituaries. No indication of awards or charted songs.
  2. Julio Foolio: nominated at AfD; notified Thriley (talk · contribs) 10:49, 27 June 2024 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails WP:BASIC, WP:ANYBIO, and WP:MUSICBIO. No indication of awards or charted songs. No notable biographical details prior to his death.

  1. Lil Travieso: nominated at AfD; notified IKunai (talk · contribs) 10:16, 13 July 2024 (UTC)

  1. Jeff Serr: nominated at AfD; notified Jeff serr@yahoo.com (talk · contribs) 21:33, 10 August 2024 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails WP:BASIC and WP:ANYBIO. Article was created 16 years ago by User:Jeff serr@yahoo.com, who remarkably, still edits their article/resume.
High and low I have search for sources to support notability, without success.

  1. Mark Jacoby (political consultant): nominated at AfD; notified Alympia.verougstraete (talk · contribs) 21:33, 6 April 2025 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails WP:BASIC and WP:CRIMINAL. Unable to locate any significant biographical details in secondary sources, just trivial one-sentence mention that he:
*Worked as a canvasser on the 2020 Kanye West presidential campaign, collecting signatures.
*Was arrested in 2008 and later pleaded guilty to charges of voter fraud.

[edit]
  1. Care for Friends: nominated at AfD; notified KevinDavis2 (talk · contribs) 14:47, 11 September 2025 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails WP:ORG. This is a local charity that does good work helping the unfortunate, but the sources are weak and mostly trivial local news coverage of a food bank or similar event.
  2. Judge David Guten: nominated at AfD; notified GoreGone (talk · contribs) 21:39, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
    • Reason: Per WP:JUDGE. Routine coverage of a US county judge. Unable to locate any significant biographical details in reliable sources.
  3. Everest, North Dakota: nominated at AfD; notified Diolaneiuma215 (talk · contribs) 22:23, 19 September 2025 (UTC)

[edit]
  1. Fish hook theory: nominated at AfD; notified Extradowdowman (talk · contribs) 15:54, 17 November 2025 (UTC)
    • Reason: Per WP:FRINGE and WP:SIGCOV. There is almost no coverage of this fringe theory in reliable sources. Of the three sources cited, none offers any empirical evidence that this is any more than some unfounded idea.
*This source is a first-person explanation by Noah Berlatsky, who states: "As a leftist myself, I find Fish Hook Theory appealing for obvious reasons: It exculpates me and indicts people whose political opinions I dislike. But, alas, I don’t think Fish Hook Theory is any more convincing than Horseshoe Theory."
*This source, which almost exclusively quotes Berlatsky (above) for details about the theory, writes: "Leftists unhappy with the suggestion that they are aligned to the far-right came up with the fish hook theory partly to satirise the horseshoe theory". It asks, "is there truth to it?", and then later responds, "the usefulness of the fish-hook theory is open to debate."
*This source, which is an abstract by Anthony Ince in an obscure journal Space and Polity, only mentions "fishhook populism" in the title, but not in the abstract. Without access to the full article, I cannot comment on its usefulness.
Wikipedia is not a place for every speculation and hunch someone thinks about...and then gets published in a tiny number of sources, per WP:VNOT.
  2. List of early Acadian families of Port Royal: nominated at AfD; notified HISTORBUFF (talk · contribs) 22:33, 27 November 2025 (UTC)
    • Reason: Per WP:NOTGENEALOGY. This is a huge list of non-notable people who lived in a particular geographic area. I removed some of the "famous descendants", because they were not supported by the source cited. I'm wondering what possible use this would be to a reader of Wikipedia.

December 2025

[edit]
  1. Category:Recording artists by Iranian label: nominated at CfD (CfD); notified JxAZDrdk (talk · contribs) 14:07, 6 December 2025 (UTC)
    • Reason: Title doesn't make sense. What's an "Iranian label"?

  1. Andre Troutman: nominated at AfD; notified HungryHighway (talk · contribs) 14:36, 29 March 2026 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails WP:BASIC, WP:ANYBIO, and WP:MUSICBIO. Unable to locate any significant biographical details in secondary sources. No indication of awards or charted songs. Mostly trivial mention in sources cited.

May 2026

[edit]
  1. Jonnie Fielding: nominated at AfD; notified Adamdawoodpk (talk · contribs) 18:41, 3 May 2026 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails WP:BASIC and WP:ANYBIO. Jonnie Fielding offers walking tours of London through his business "Bowl of Chalk". The only reliable secondary sources cited are the Guardian and The Times, and they both discuss the walking tour, rather then offer biographical detail about Fielding. The article's creator has a declared conflict of interest with Jonnie Fielding.

  1. Category:People from Fundy Isles: nominated at CfD (CfR); renaming to Category:People from Fundy Islands; notified New Yathrib - Fundy Historian (talk · contribs) 15:14, 10 June 2026 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fundy Isles is an electoral district; Fundy Islands is the place within the electoral district from which the people in this category are from. People are from places, not ZIP codes or electoral districts.
  2. HavinMotion: nominated at AfD; notified Gdshordy (talk · contribs) 20:58, 12 June 2026 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails WP:BASIC, WP:ANYBIO, and WP:MUSICBIO. No indication of awards or charted songs. Every citation in the article was published after he was murdered.
