I'm a participant of WikiProject AI Tools and have watched with interest the debate around writing articles with large language models. I use LLMs to spot copyedits needed in my writing, but don't use them to actually write Wikipedia content. I have developed a couple of fun, experimental Wikipedia-related AI tools:
"Did You Know?" OpenClaw Skill - uses an LLM to identity whether the subject of one of the main page's DYK hooks is a match for your configured preferences, and shares it with you via your OpenClaw AI agent.
Notable person finder - scans news coverage via RSS for people who may meet WP:GNG, and flags likely-notable people who are missing articles. An LLM is used at narrow decision gates: to classify candidates and verify matches for encyclopedia articles and media coverage. I keep a log of people it finds here.
The Leeds meet-up sounds like it went really well! Congratulations Lajmmoore (talk) 19:46, 6 May 2024 (UTC)
