Main areas of interests: Law, policy.

I am a legal professional entitled to practice law within the EU. My area of specialty is criminal law, but I have a well-rounded understanding of "the law" in general, as required by my profession. None of my activity represents any institution or legal entity, I edit for myself.

While I do personally know some persons who are notable enough to have their own WP articles, my relationship to them is remote enough that it does not warrant COI disclosure. I am not interested in editing their articles, anyway. I have not, as of writing (September 2025), published or contributed to any academic works that might produce a COI if cited by myself.

I believe that the continental legal perspective is sorely underrepresented on English Wikipedia. While this is somewhat understandable (the English speaking world by and large practices common law), it does go against the idea of Wikipedia as a common encyclopedia, especially if Anglophone perspectives are presented without mention of others existing.

I have a limited interest in politics. My edits, summaries and talk page justifications are not to express any particular political sentiment and do not represent partisanship. The belief of any user to the contrary is solely the product of their assumptions.

I have access to Wolters Kluwer Lex for use to source texts (in particular regarding Polish law).

For my legal contributions, I often cite sources that are in my own language (i.e. Polish). That is not to make them less accessible for verification, that is because those are the sources I have access to, whether online via secure portal or as physical books.

I hold userspace to be the user's realm within the confines of WP policy and I believe telling others to WP:SOMTP is any user's right.
