RPM note
[edit]RPM changed its compiling methodology for their Canada Top Singles (RPM) music chart
from that of being "compiled weekly from record store, radio station and record company reports" (sales)
to that of being "compiled from radio station charts and playlists" (airplay).
Also on 10 Sep 1988, Billboard launched their Modrern Rock Tracks airplay music chart.

The 1969 single "Give Peace a Chance" / "Remember Love" was originally released with a Parlophone catalogue
number of R 5795, then was briefly changed to APPLES 1000, then finally to an Apple catalogue number of APPLE 13,
as the Beatles was still ongoing at the time and Parlophone catalogue numbers were kept separate from that of
individual solo releases (such as those as Lennon's), though this changed upon the breakup of the Beatles.

ABBA logo
[edit]
The idea for what would become the official logo for ABBA came from German photographer Wolfgang Heilemann in early 1976.
The logo was then designed by Swedish designer Rune Söderqvist, originally for "Dancing Queen" and the album it came from,
Arrival, with Polar Music then seeing to him in designing all of ABBA's record sleeves until the label was sold in late 1989.[1]
