I am Ankit Anand. I am currently a student of BS (Natural Sciences) at IISER Bhopal. I have keen interest in research and therefore I have joined IISER. Further, I want to continue my journey in Academia in the field of Mathematics. I am actively looking for internship opportunities where I can apply skills and grow in a collaborative environment. I have much interest in playing chess. I have represented Sainik School Goalpara in CBSE far East Zone Chess Championship in 2018 & 2019 under the category U-14(mixed)[1] & U-17(mixed)[2] respectively.
I like to play games. So, here at IISER Bhopal, I am playing Basketball, Badminton & Chess. I am interested in long distance running too in athletics. I have participated in IISM'2024(Inter IISER Sports Meet) in 5km and 10km held at IISER Pune. I won Bronze medal in 10KM and foutrh in 05KM in IISM 2025 held at NISER. Gold Medalist of 05KM & 10KM of Sangharsh 2026.
I studied in Sainik School and I have been cadet in NCC unit- 27 Assam Sainik School Coy, it developed much interest in Defence Forces and my primary focus always lie in Armed Forces. I have earned NCC 'A' & 'B' Certificate (Army Wing) in 2020 & 2023 respectively from the unit "27 Assam Sainik School Coy, Goalpara". Currently I have joined NCC again in the unit "1 MP Naval Unit, Bhopal". Recently I have attended CATC-IX camp held at Vaishnavi Group of Institutes, Bhopal.
