Hello and welcome to my user page,

I'm Julian, a German consultant and researcher in the areas of tourism infrastructure and the visitor economy. I joined Wikipedia in 2007 and Commons in 2012. In my leisure time, I enjoy reading, traveling, being in nature, taking (mobile) photos, and supporting the various Wiki projects.

My current focus is on uploading my photographs to Commons, where I stand at around 35,000 photos from 20 countries (see here). Besides that, I have created about 250 articles for the German Wikipedia and done over 170,000 edits across 140 Wiki projects.

About me

I was born in 1991 in Wuppertal, Germany. After completing my Bachelor's at University of Wuppertal in 2016 and my Master's Oxford Brookes University in 2020, I am currently a PhD student at Universidad de La Laguna. In my professional life, I am experienced as a scientist and consultant in tourism, regional development, (public) mobility, and entrepreneurship.
