Usage

This template provides a way to force no table of contents without using a Magic Word.
It does not put an unnecessary message reprimanding an editor who is editing in good faith and either prefers not to use magic words, doesn't know about magic words at all or who has forgotten whether this is a magic word or a template.
Because the template {{NOTOC}} cannot perform that function, this template is the next best thing. It also uses a less shouty name, recovering somewhat from the disaster of {{NOTOC}} polluting the template namespace.
(NOTOC looks like this: {{NOTOC}}: incorrect syntax, use {{subst:NOTOC}} or __NOTOC__ instead.)
Please encourage all editors to make life simple, there should be no need for the average editor to know HTML, CSS, Magic Words, Lua, JavaScript, regular expressions or anything other than some simple markup, and a handful of template and category names.
