Cast and character breakdown

Tracking the credits to confirm cast order for the article. Using the opening credits for each episode to determine who counts as "main" since there is no main-on-end titles with actor names like other MCU shows.

We're not following WP:MCUTVCAST here. This order is based on the Disney+ credits, and while they do not differentiate between the main, recurring, and guest cast as many other series do, we are obviously not going to list all of them as bulleted as that would become quite an exhaustive list. When main cast is not easily apparent, going off of the opening credits is a great indicator of which actors/roles are the main ones, especially in this case. This does fall in accordance with MOS:TVCAST for now until more sources are produced which specifically state which actors are the main, recurring, or guest roles. I've largely been avoiding this page for editing because I know a lot has been changed and added since it premiered, but this list is great to help figure out recurring and guests. As to who could be a "main" actor, I'd suggest first off to base it on the actors Disney included in their pre-release material (Ray Chase, Jennifer Hale, Alison Sealy-Smith, Cal Dodd, J. P. Karliak, Lenore Zann, George Buza, A. J. LoCascio, Holly Chou, Isaac Robinson-Smith, Matthew Waterson, and Adrian Hough) all of whom have now appeared in the opening credits. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 17:47, 24 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Replacing actors

Regarding the sections that still need citations, about certain actors having their voice actors replaced in this series, would it be enough to find a source about X character being voiced by Y actor in the original cartoon, or should we find a source that specifically states that "X actor voices Y character, replacing Z actor"? Cameos

In Mojo's episode, Jubilee relives original show's S1's "Lsave Island" events and sees characters seen in that episode - Thunderbird, Domino, Sunfire. It's also said in GamesRadar reference's link. Maybe add those characters also for cameos, just like there's Mr. Fantastic despite for seconds and being Morph. Gevorg89 (talk) 16:52, 23 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Season drafts

Any thoughts on moving Draft:X-Men '97 season 1 and Draft:X-Men '97 season 2 to the mainspace now that we are starting to get more S2-specific details? Frankly, we almost meet the criteria to move Draft:X-Men '97 season 3 to the mainspace considering we have progress updates for recording and animation. - adamstom97 (talk) 17:37, 12 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I think we can move the S1 and S2 drafts to the mainspace because there is enough basis of the animation work having already taken place to warrant a split, with more information well on the way. @Adamstom.97: What are your thoughts now about moving season 3 to mainspace? Houston confirmed animatics are now done for season 3, so that would put us in criteria area to move. Also unrelated, Draft:X-Men '97 season 4 now exists. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 00:15, 29 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Actually since we really go off of WP:NFF for moving, that says doing so when final animation has begun. We can assume that's the case with the animatics being finished, but we don't know for certain, so I think maybe we wait. It is borderline WP:GNG so wouldn't hurt for it to "bake" a little more.
