In section 3.2.1: "While initially exclusive for use with the PlayStation 5 console, a PC adapter is scheduled for August 2024."

As per the PSVR2 wiki page, the PC adapter was released August 7th Pastymancer (talk) 22:08, 26 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Pastymancer We need a reliable source for this. Another wikipedia article is not a reliable source (see WP:CIRCULAR) Ultraodan (talk) 00:18, 27 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I would've copied the RS PSVR2 uses, but I can't make the edit myself, so I didn't bother gathering a RS before.
There's https://www.gamesradar.com/hardware/vr/your-psvr-2-will-work-on-pc-starting-this-august-but-theres-a-catch/ and https://blog.playstation.com/2024/06/03/playstation-vr2-players-can-access-games-on-pc-with-adapter-starting-on-august-7/ and more if you wanna google and scroll pass the second result Pastymancer (talk) 00:39, 27 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I would prefer a source from after release since we are talking past events. A quick google search doesn't show up anything for me. Ultraodan (talk) 12:44, 27 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I've found this https://thevrrealm.com/reviews/review-psvr2-on-pcvr/ though a source post facto isn't going to be a major tech review site, since they'd have review copies and get articles out in advance Pastymancer (talk) 16:40, 27 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

PlayStation VR2 PC adapter has been available for sale since August of 2024. The statement that it is not yet available should be removed. Treehouse925 (talk) 12:12, 14 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Done I updated the article to mention its release and replaced the ref with a more current source. DrOrinScrivello (talk) 18:16, 14 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

In the Concerts section, I am requesting an addition:

On March 11-12, 2023, a two day music festival was hosted in Rec Room, with Tokyo Machine and Ethan Bortnick headlining. Source for citation: https://www.roadtovr.com/rec-room-vr-music-festival-tokyo-machine-bortnick/ Mamamonkey206 (talk) 01:16, 10 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Memory concerns?

[edit]

Should those papers be added to the "Concerns and challenges" and make a new section something?

Wiesing et al. (2025) highlighted that VR can be integrated into autobiographical memory, making it difficult for individuals to distinguish simulated events from real-life experiences and confusing where an event. [1] And Bonnail et al. (2024) also mentioned source confusion occurs. [2] Etc. etc. Gedu11539381 (talk) 17:34, 14 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Link to pancake lens article

[edit]

the link on “pancake lenses” takes users to the article about a different type of pancake lens. There is no article on the type of pancake lenses used in VR. Instead, link to the “Other uses” section of that article. Thank you. Pancake lens#Other uses ~2026-33310-49 (talk) 22:49, 4 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
