Change the word upcoming as the game released in 2020 2A0C:A741:1014:E730:11B4:FFCC:CCDF:5686 (talk) 09:26, 13 April 2025 (UTC)

In the gameplay section change "Achieving an S rank in all three categories without dying throughout that run will earn the player a P (Perfect) rank, the highest possible rank for a level." With "Achieving an S rank in all three categories without dying or resetting to checkpoint throughout that run will earn the player a P (Perfect) rank, the highest possible rank for a level." Estrodet (talk) 23:57, 20 October 2025 (UTC)
Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. x2step (lets talk 💌) 00:36, 21 October 2025 (UTC)- Besides lacking sources, I'm not sure if this is necessary. Resetting to checkpoint usually represents a failure condition for "perfect runs" in other action games in the same way dying does.
throughout that run
also implies that it needs to be done in one complete run without resetting. - Umby 🌕🐶 (talk · contribs) 00:47, 21 October 2025 (UTC)
"Game Mechanics" addition
[edit]I think it's a good idea to add some of the iconic weapon variants and mechanics they have. Deadcoining, nuking, chargebacks, and a basic idea of how the game works would be greatly beneficial to the game. ~2025-31485-59 (talk) 15:39, 5 November 2025 (UTC)
- this has already been discussed, as can be seen several times in archive 1 (accessible at the top of this talk page). as far as policy goes, a reliable source just needs to cover that stuff first, and then we can cite it for the addition, because otherwise, it'll be considered fancruft consarn (talck) (contirbuton s) 15:43, 5 November 2025 (UTC)
Proposal to add info about the Prime Sanctums
[edit]I find it odd that there is no mention of the content in the Prime Sanctums, considering their lore relevance. I propose that info on them be added, such as the Flesh Prisons, Minos and Sisyphus Prime, the City of Dis (where P-2 takes place), and the efforts of Minos and Sisyphus (the Lust Renaissance and Greed Insurrection respectively). PICKLEMAN7737 (talk) 06:15, 12 February 2026 (UTC)
- I see this and raise this instead. I feel like ULTRAKILL's lore deserves a good bit of talk too, but not in the page itself. Personally, instead of it being a separate section in the article itself, there should be, say, a forum or talk page discussing this same lore. "Humanity is extinct due to unknown causes." Is false.
[edit]It is blatantly stated in multiple terminals in the game in special levels that humanity died to the machines. The Garden of forking paths (talk) 14:44, 4 March 2026 (UTC)
- it actually isn't. the game only conclusively says that mankind is dead (pretty easy detail to miss, i wish they'd put it in the cover), that they were all killed in a couple hours, that machines are in hell because they need yummy blood, and that the arg character is bummed that humanity didn't get itself killed. it does not conclusively state at any point (especially not in whatever a "special level" is) what the cause actually was consarn (talck) (contirbuton s) 21:19, 8 March 2026 (UTC)
- 1) the testament terminals at the end of secret levels I beleive is what they're talking about.
- 2) with the text of the opening of HUMANITY IS DEAD. BLOOD IS FULL. HELL IS FULL. being red, the color of when hell is talking, humanity might NOT be dead, right? like hell is just manipulating V1 or something, and it COULD be a lie from hell itself, for all we know.
- 3) are we sure ALL machines came to hell for blood? because I'm 100% positive the earthmovers (being y'know, dead and all) did not go to hell for blood, and it was another trick by hell. so far, I've noticed a distinct abiguity about if humanity is DEAD dead, or if there are some small pockets of survivors, like we read about in the book in the library room in 8-2.
- personally, id say the lore leans more towards humanity is dead, but there is a slight possibility a few hundred or so are still alive.
- I know hakita did the ARG thing to build hype for new layers, so if that says otherwise to what I'm yapping about, I'd like to know. ~2026-30150-06 (talk) 21:11, 19 May 2026 (UTC)
- the terminals also state that mick foley is dead, but at no point does anything in the game ever provide a cause of it. at best, it can be assumed that the humans that were doing hell expedition stuff got scrindonguloded by hell or by stuff it was manipulating
- regardless, this is all speculation that has no place in the article itself, unless reliable sources decide to report on it consarn (talk beige) (count ribs) 21:56, 19 May 2026 (UTC)

[edit]Remove the prime souls from the Plot and put it into Gameplay instead. The order in the Plot is wrong, as you need to P-rank all the levels in the sanctum's act, which means beating its respective Gabriel fight before. The article claims Gabriel is fought after.
Given they're also optional and not a lot of people get to them, it doesn't feel right to say there's a set order like in the main levels.
We could take this line from Gameplay:
"Achieving a P rank in all levels of an act allows the player to access the act's "prime sanctum", each containing a secret boss fight."
and add something like "The two currently in game are the 'Prime Souls' of kings Minos and Sisyphus." to make up for it. ~2026-17974-06 (talk) 06:08, 23 March 2026 (UTC)
Platforms added
[edit]Hello, I am new to Wikipedia, so pardon anything wrong I may do. Aren't there more platforms for ULTRAKILL supported other than just Microsoft Windows? ULTRAKILL's also on Linux, Amazon Luna, and GeForce Now. ~2026-24796-21 (talk) 20:12, 23 April 2026 (UTC)
- inclusion of linux is a little complicated (and/or doesn't actually count) if i'm not mistaken, and the other two absolutely just don't count lol. also, i haven't actually found evidence of it being released on those last two, so do you happen to have a source for that? consarn (talck) (contirbuton s) 20:21, 23 April 2026 (UTC)

Please change "Ultrakill is an upcoming ...." to "Ultrakill is an ...." ~2026-25784-86 (talk) 06:38, 1 May 2026 (UTC)
Not done As far a I can tell from the article, Ultrakill hasn't seen a proper release. That's the issue with early access games, they're out and available, but in this limbo-state (pun intended). soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 06:43, 1 May 2026 (UTC)
Full credit to the team
[edit]We should add full credit to everyone in the museum thing. LucaTHP (talk) 11:42, 6 May 2026 (UTC)
- A long list of credits is not necessary, we just mention the main people involved. This is a relatively small title, imagine how many people have worked on AAA titles like the upcoming GTA. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 21:17, 29 May 2026 (UTC)
"Ultrakill" may be the incorrect capitalization
[edit]All official marketing and store pages for ULTRAKILL I've been able to find always have ULTRAKILL in all caps, so shouldn't the correct capitalization be "ULTRAKILL", not "Ultrakill"? CatKG (talk) 21:11, 29 May 2026 (UTC)
- Because of WP:MOSCAPS and WP:MOSTM. That it's written in all-caps style doesn't mean Wikipedia follows suit. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 21:15, 29 May 2026 (UTC)
