Drafting the Plot Summary Section
[edit]Note for future editors: While translating and adapting content from the French Wikipedia article (fr:Soif (roman)), I discovered that their Résumé section contains heavy close-paraphrasing and near-verbatim lifting from the August 2019 La Croix book review. To maintain English Wikipedia's strict policy against plagiarism, I did not translate that section faithfully. Instead, I synthesized a completely fresh, neutrally phrased plot overview based on the standard structural milestones of the novel.Jeffgriffinsignal (talk) 03:03, 25 June 2026 (UTC)
Honestly....
[edit]My feelings won't be hurt if someone has better ideas for this page. If you tear it up and start over, well, ok I might be upset, especially if the redo isn't good, but no pressure. I'm insecure about the section on themes. I can add a lot of text of my own, but that's editorializing, and thus not what wikipedia is for. There is a lot of source material out there that talks about the core themes, however it's challenging to find the right sort of reviews. I mean, there are plenty of the wrong sort of reviews (blogs and such), and then there is a lot of repetition as well. Jeffgriffinsignal (talk) 01:39, 26 June 2026 (UTC)
