Repairing incoming links

Repairing 92 incoming links to this dab page, I find all (?) are used in the sense of "to be determined". That sense does not merit a link, so I have unlinked these uses. --Una Smith (talk) 16:44, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Article possibility

Frankly, I don't see why we can't create a serviceable article on the history and significance of the phrases, "To be determined" and "To be announced", possibly relating some of their historic equivalents and comparable phrases in other languages, and redirect "TBA" and "TBD" there. Oppose. The fact that some meaning of a term is the most common one in everyday English doesn't necessarily translate into it being the primary topic here, especially if that topic has marginal encyclopedicity. Still, it may be a good idea to keep an eye on the usage statistics: Wikinav should hopefully soon get updated with the data for August [2], and then we can see if any of the links on the dab page gets a big majority of the clicks (we can't use the currently available data for July or earlier, because then the dab page was not at the primary title: it only got moved there on 1 Aug).
