Surface conductivity of thin films?
[edit]Another type of object that can be characterized by surface conductivity are thin conductive films on dielectric substrates. If the distances measured are much larger than film thickness, the resistance between probes stays the same if the probes and the measurement distance are enlarged or shrunk by the same factor.
