Upstart
[edit]Start of the article - A startup or start-up (or sometimes upstart)
I can't find any reference to the term startup and upstart being synonymous and quite a few suggesting they mean different things, removing the "(or sometimes upstart)" unless someone can find a reliable reference. Druidpld (talk) 12:07, 20 September 2023 (UTC)
Principles reads like a How-to guide (and may be AI generated)
[edit]I think the Principles, and to a lesser extent the Actions section, reads like a guide on how to start a startup rather than an encyclopedia on what a startup company is. Also, while I'm not 100% sure, it might be AI generated due to the frequent em-dashes and organization of information into lists. Red thunder07 (talk) 21:43, 17 March 2026 (UTC)
- It seems that way, but it can't be AI, since it has existed largely unedited for quite a few years. Frankly, the entire article reads too much like a guide, and is overburdened with management-speak and vague platitudes. AndyTheGrump (talk) 22:28, 17 March 2026 (UTC)
