Correcting Citation Issues and Expanding Article

This article has multiple issues with lack of appropriate citations, as indicated by the banner at the top, but I think many of them are easily fixable. I was surprised to see that the most comprehensive source on Simpson College history, Joseph Walt's book, Beneath the Whispering Maples: The History of Simpson College was not previously cited in the article at all; as such, I have recently added Walt's book to the list of references. I think this source can be used to greatly expand the body of the article as well as fix citation issues, as anything prior to 1994 is discussed in the book.
