It is obvious that the images in the article are explicit and don't shoow any educational purpose. One example is the first image by Edouard Henri Avil guy, he throughout his lifetime made erotic paintings especially for the elite...it was basically for entertainment... ~2026-31792-1 (talk) 11:14, 15 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
l don't see how one could have a non-explicit image showing sexual intercourse. As for the image being erotica, you are correct. We could no doubt use a photo instead, though we'd have to be very careful to ensure the individuals involved had given the necessary permission. Using art avoids this issue.
