reference
[edit]It is worth pointing out that reference 1, supposedly supporting the quote from Nachmani, points instead to a private message to an internet-based discussion group. It is this message that refers to the same quote from Nachmani, and the source is not clear. In view of poor referencing and a rather inflammatory nature of the quote, I dispute the neutrality of this article--209.6.169.96 07:23, 28 October 2005 (UTC)
- It seems to be a transcript of a translation to English of a Hebrew article by Gideon Levy quoting Benny Morris' book "Correcting a Mistake". I have a Hebrew copy of the book, and the passage is in page 86. Does anybody have an English copy of the book? The quote needs to be confirmed and referenced properly. Note that Nachmani himself is quoting an intelligence officer.--Doron 13:10, 10 November 2005 (UTC)
- I don't think that book appeared in English, but Morris published the quotation in several other places. I'll work on it in the next day or so. --Zero 22:11, 10 November 2005 (UTC)
disputed
[edit]I agree that this article doesn't have much in it. Benny Morris like I previously said also retracted many of his claims in his recent years and all this basis is really hanging at straws. Not reliable at ALL. Amoruso
- Reverted. Please don't slap tags on multiple pages the way you just did. Instead, you should bring arguments specific to the article and the cites to back it up. See WP:V, WP:RS, WP:NPOV. Your changes turns up on the NPOV backlog and other backlogs -- Steve Hart 00:59, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
There is *nothing* I can find substantiating this. Including the dubious references. Substantial collections don't mention it at all. Either the articles about it quote here, or this is a verbatim copy of there .. cf http://military.wikia.com/wiki/Killings_and_massacres_during_the_1948_Palestine_war DDB (talk) 17:06, 29 October 2017 (UTC)
