Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Royal Archaeological Institute. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. Royal Archaeological Institute of Great Britain and Ireland

[edit]

The Royal Archaeological Institute of Great Britain and Ireland is now known as the Royal Archaeological Institute. See https://www.royalarchinst.org/sites/royalarchinst.org/files/RAI_CHARTER2004_final1.pdf for the royal charter.

[edit]

The Royal Archaeological Institute's logo is available at File:Royal Archaeological Institute logo.jpg and I have provided a fair use rationale for use within this article. Please could it be added to the infobox as outlined below?

I am on the RAI's council, so have a conflict of interest, hence why I am not adding the logo myself, but think it would be consistent with other Wikipedia articles such as National Lottery Heritage Fund and Cadw. Richard Nevell (talk) 18:55, 20 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you Richard, I have changed your edit request to a COI one. (You should have used this initially, but you were honest about your COI, so I think it is fine if I just fix it for you) that said, I am not certain if a fair use rationale is enough, but I have a hard time understanding how copyright works on Wikipedia in general. I hope the people who will respond to the COI edit request will know much more about this. Good luck and happy editing, Slomo666 (talk) 19:13, 20 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Minorax: Thank you for adding the non-free file to the infobox. I wanted to bring this thread to your attention in case you hadn't spotted it and weren't aware of my COI. Richard Nevell (talk) 21:49, 26 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Gray check markYg Closing: Since this request has been fulfilled, I'll be closing it now. — Alex26337 (talk) 04:14, 7 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
