[edit]Updating with 2020 OUP textbook next (haven’t been able to find 2023 edition on short notice). AintItFunLiving (talk) 03:19, 27 May 2025 (UTC) Blocked sock. Ramos1990 (talk) 05:56, 7 October 2025 (UTC)
- Good luck. By the way, you need to point out the POV issues in this thread too, as mandated by the POV template itself. StephenMacky1 (talk) 15:16, 27 May 2025 (UTC)
Notes section
[edit]Joshua Jonathan - in this edit you made seen here, where you changed sfn to harvtxt, you have now created another cite error seen here - Cite error: A list-defined reference has no name. (see the help page). This Cite error will continue to be listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting until the error is fixed.
As the help page explains in Issues and resolution - More than one use of {{refn}} or #tag:ref within list defined references. You can only use {{refn}} or #tag:ref once as a list-defined reference. This bug has been a known issue for a while now, and is being tracked in Phabricator task T22707 Nested refs fail inside references block. So you can either move the note back into the body of the article like it was previously was to resolve this known issue, or figure out your own workaround to this known issue. Thanks in advance. - @Isaidnoway thanks for noting; I'll find a fix. Regards, Joshua Jonathan - Let's talk! 07:12, 31 May 2025 (UTC)

Class B re-evaluation
[edit]Such an important article -- but is it Class B? If up to me, I'd down-grade to Class C. Why? It's got lotsa references, but they are poorly presented. To keep it in Class B, and perhaps upgrade to Class A or GA, a hard-working editor should convert the many loose citations into templated citations. Thanks. – S. Rich (talk) 04:09, 25 July 2025 (UTC)
Why is the following text repeated verbatim within article?
[edit]According to Vermes, [t]he strictly Jewish bond of spirit and body is better served by the idea of the empty tomb and is no doubt responsible for the introduction of the notions of palpability (Thomas in John) and eating (Luke and John). HandsOfBlue (talk) 19:45, 14 December 2025 (UTC)
Minimal Facts vs Maximalism: Think we should add
[edit]A key discussion among historians on this topic are the minimal vs. maximal methodological approaches (e.g., Licona and McGrew, respectively). Including that contrasting framing would be helpful for those wanting to familiarize themselves with historical arguments on this topic.
Planning to add this at some point but curious if anyone has thoughts on where would be the best section. GreenRedGreen (talk) 03:23, 1 May 2026 (UTC)
