I want to put in facts about Onision. I am a big fan. 50.235.142.58 (talk) 19:53, 23 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format.Stikkyy (talk) 20:47, 23 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Don’t. Gregory James is a child predator. Unsubscribe to him. 2806:269:480:16B7:146:436C:F529:DB19 (talk) 05:15, 14 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to change 'Gregory' to Greg because he doesn't use the name Gregory ever. Pinof8 (talk) 17:03, 24 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Gregory James Daniel is a kiddie diddler - full stop. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Boozinf (talkcontribs) 07:13, 17 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

BRD

[edit]

Herostratus and Shamus248 please follow WP:BRD and discuss this change here. If necessary, seek input from WP:BLP/N. —DIYeditor (talk) 08:18, 14 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

BRD does not always apply in BLP cases, we are instructed that we must remove some material on sight. IMO that applies here. The article as it stands is now BLP compliant, so I am good. Herostratus (talk) 13:55, 14 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I just want to point out initially that some of the content that was removed wasn't even written by me. Specifically the Billie Webb allegations, as those have been featured on the page since they originally came to light in November 2019, several years before I started having my fun with the page. I maintain that chronicling serious accusations of this nature are important, even if later found to be untrue. I'll be honest and make it known that I strongly dislike the page's subject (not an unpopular opinion to be fair), though I maintain my edits were part of a good faith effort to add information I thought was relevant and should be spoken about in some way. Challenge of the day: try finding another public figure accused of this type of misconduct and have it *not* be mentioned in their Wikipedia page, even if it's unverified or debunked altogether. I highly doubt you can find me one.
The content I added to/added myself altogether is still alluded to in the head section. If you're going to clean up one, clean up the other.
But I honestly do not care about touching this page anymore and I'm not going to again. Shamus248 (talk) 01:21, 16 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'm in agreement with Shamus here. The statements were well-sourced and didn't make any definitive claims, just that these accusations exist. It seems like a case of WP:CENSORED to not include this material. — Your local Sink Cat (The Sink). 23:09, 19 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I think we should ask BLP/N for input from experienced editors. I will start a thread there. —DIYeditor (talk) 11:51, 20 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'm with Sink Cat and still maintain that I support inclusion. But I'm not gonna make the edits myself Shamus248 (talk) 21:56, 20 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please see Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons/Noticeboard#Onision. —DIYeditor (talk) 11:55, 20 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Finding another public figure with these kinds of allegations and no mention is easy: Jared Leto.
But I would argue that the allegations should be added to Leto's page rather than removed from Onision's. 98.230.72.237 (talk) 19:53, 18 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

MWFwiki I'd say just reply here, nobody seemed interested at BLP/N. —DIYeditor (talk) 21:24, 2 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Just stating for the record that I support the inclusion of sourced accusations. We don't need to include them in the lead (he was known prior to the accusations) and we can make it clear that they are merely accusations and that he has maintained his innocence and has never been charged with anything. However, the accusations are a significant portion of his notability for the last 5-6 years. There are plenty of reliable sources that have reported on the accusations. MWFwiki (talk) 22:22, 2 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I agree, this information is relevant and fairly widely publicized. Anything that is cited to an RS should stay on the article. This is a public figure, by his own choosing, and these allegations are a significant part of his notoriety. —DIYeditor (talk) 12:37, 3 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@DIYeditor: Hi I see this is many months after the fact, but restoring the info as per the clear consensus here (you joined MWFwiki, Sink Cat, and Shamus248 as all in support of including this info as long as it is reliably sourced). I too found it odd that it was totally nuked from the article given the sourcing. Nobody ever responded to the BLP Noticeboard topic, but that topic could just be raised again if there is any objection to the restoration here. Soulbust (talk) 09:58, 3 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Add it then. —DIYeditor (talk) 13:49, 10 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Edit Request - minor - novels section

[edit]

I have checked this page numerous times over the past year or two and Onision’s children’s Book still hasn’t been added to his ‘Novels’ section. ‘The Stinky Duck (2022)’. I believe this is especially important to add due to his other controversies involving minors. ~2025-43679-39 (talk) 14:09, 29 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
