Sorry if I'm not doing this right. I'm new at this. Anyway, on the article page, in the Rationale secion, it says, " because the photon energy at wavelengths longer than about 700 nanometers is too large to synthesize organic molecules". This doesn't make sense. Photon energies at longer wavelengths are *smaller*, not *larger*. ChristopherVolpe (talk) 17:44, 14 February 2019 (UTC)

Article clarity and accessibility
[edit]While I have some background in the science field, this article was still a bit difficult to get through and understand which made the article not very engaging. It could use perhaps a simpler explanation of the formula, clearer example of the topic, and a reorganization of the structure of the article. I think real-world examples should be placed higher in the article as a way to engage readers more in the application and use of NDVI.Mariluq01 (talk) 19:40, 19 March 2026 (UTC)
